CONTROL PANEL
1. Input Jack: This is a 1/4” 2-conductor input jack for plugging in your instrument. It is intended for guitars but will
accept other instruments as well.
2. Gain: Adjust this control clockwise to increase the amount of distortion. Use in the lower ranges (counter clockwise)
to produce less distorted tones. As you increase the gain (clockwise), the amount of distortion increases, which is
suitable for heavier types of music.
3. Volume (Lead): This is a volume control for the Lead channel only.
4. Channel Select: This switch selects between the Lead and Clean channels. Press IN to activate Lead channel.
5. Volume (Clean): This is a volume control for the Clean channel only.
6. Low: This passive EQ control adjusts the bass frequencies of the amplier. For a tighter low end, set this control in its
lower ranges. This is particularly helpful when using the amp at louder volumes.
7. Mid: This is a passive midrange control for both channels. When playing in the Lead channel, it works well to reduce
the midrange for heavier types of music. Higher midrange settings help produce a singing, clear tone.
8. High: This passive control adjusts the high frequencies and interacts with the Low control. As the High control is
turned up, lows automatically decrease. Conversely, if the High control is decreased, lows are increased. This interaction
is typical of vintage-style, passive “tone stacks” and is responsible for the effectiveness of such a simple EQ system.
9. Delay/Reverb: This switch selects between Delay and Reverb effects. Press IN to choose Delay.
10. Effect Level: This control increases the effect signal level and mixes it with the instrument’s signal. Turn the control
clockwise to add the desired level of effects.
11. Chorus On: By pressing IN, this switch activates the Chorus effect. (Note: When Chorus is activated, it is always
mixed with either Delay or Reverb, as selected by the Delay/Reverb switch.)
12. Power Indicator: When lit, the amplier is turned on and ready for use.
13. Power Switch: Provides AC power to the amplier when in the upward ON position.
Using the Built-In Effects
You may use either Delay by itself or Reverb by itself with the Double Barrel. When the Delay/Reverb switch is pressed
IN, you get Delay. When this switch is OUT, you have Reverb. To hear more Delay or Reverb, simply turn up the Effect
Level control and set it as desired.
If you choose, you may add a Chorus effect to your Reverb or Delay. Activate the Chorus by pressing this Switch IN.
(Note: When Chorus is activated, the Double Barrel’s effect circuitry always mixes Chorus with Reverb or Delay to
enhance the overall effect.)

Speaker: This output jack is used to deliver the amplied signal to an external speaker. Total minimum load is 8
ohms. Do not use a load lower than 8 ohms; damage to the amplier may result. The amplier’s internal speakers are
disconnected when this jack is used.
Line Out: This is a 2-conductor 1/4” line output jack. This will allow an external amplier or mixing board to be supplied
with the signal from this amp.
Headphone: This is a 3-conductor stereo output jack. The amplier’s internal speakers are disconnected when this jack
is used.
CD/Tape Input: This is a 3-conductor 1/4” jack that allows playback from an auxiliary source, such as a Compact Disc
or Tape player.
Power Cord Receptacle / Fuse Holder: To provide power to the Double Barrel, insert the AC cord (provided) rmly into
the AC connector. Replace the AC power cord if protective jacket is damaged or ground pin is damaged or removed.
Replacing the Fuse: The fuse is located in a housing just below the AC receptacle. To remove the fuse, remove AC
cord and pull out on the tab above the fuse symbol, located on the fuse carriage. Place the new fuse in the carriage clip
and re-insert. Replace only with the same type and size. Note: To prevent an electrical hazard, DO NOT replace fuse
without using the fuse carriage. Replace the fuse carriage if lost or damaged before re-inserting the AC power cord.

SUGGESTED SETTINGS
The settings described below are intended to help you dial in some of the most commonly used tones in a guitarist’s
arsenal. No doubt, you will want to modify these settings to best match your instrument and musical environment. If a
control is blank, with no indicated setting, it doesn’t apply to that specic sound.
CLEAN GUITAR
These settings are for punchy clean tones that are commonly used in Pop, Country or Alternative music. Use the Clean
channel with the tone controls set to emphasize brighter high-end sounds. Low and Mid controls should be set to best
match the tonality of your instrument. Consider using the Chorus effect to add some spice as needed.
MEDIUM-GAIN GUITAR
These settings are appropriate for Rock, Blues or other music styles that require a moderate amount of distortion. Use
the Lead channel with the Gain set to generate the appropriate amount of distortion. Use the tone controls to best match
your instrument. If you want a “singing” sound for solos, try increasing the Mid settings. Experiment with Reverb to add
ambience to your tone.
HIGH-GAIN GUITAR
Try these setting ranges when you want to dial in the heaviest tones. Notice that the Gain control is cranked up, the Low
control is increased, Mids are reduced and Highs are set to your taste. Experiment with the Delay effect, especially for
guitar solos.
