  • Hello! I have reviewed the document regarding the Kasco RGBC5 WaterGlow Lighting fixture replacement instructions. This document provides a clear guide on how to replace the light fixture, including instructions on disconnecting the old fixture, preparing the connection, and securing the new fixture with a heat-shrink tube and o-ring for a water-tight seal. I'm ready to answer any questions you have about this process.
  • What parts are included in the replacement light fixture?
What should I do before assembling the new fixture?
What should I do if the Cord Splitter side is damaged?
What is the purpose of the o-ring?
What should be done after connecting the fixture connector to the cord splitter?
How to seal the connection after the fixture is secured?

FIXTURE REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the old xture by removing the heat shrink tube (if applicable), unthreading the Connector Nut,
and separating the Cord Splitter from the Fixture boot.
2. Ensure that the female (Cord Splitter side) half of the connection is clean and dry. If it is not, remove any
debris and allow to dry thoroughly before assembling.
3. Inspect the Cord Splitter side of the connection for damage.
If no damage is present, proceed to step 4.
If damage is present, replace the splitter or call Kasco for technical support (715-262-4488).
4. Conrm the o-ring is present on the male (Fixture) side of the connection. The connection will not be
water-tight without it.
5. Slide the 1” piece of shrink tube over the female connector of the Cord Splitter and slide it down the
cord towards the splitter, exposing the connector for assembly.
This replacement light xture includes a Quick
Disconnect coupling and a heat-shrink tube.

INSTRUCTIONS (CONT.)
6. Connect the Fixture connector to the Cord Splitter connector.
7. Slide the Nut from the Fixture half of the connector over until it engages the threads on the Cord Splitter
half of the connector. Turn clockwise to secure the two halves snugly together. (Note: over-tightening
may damage components.)
8. Slide the shrink tube over the cord connection and center it on the connection.
9. Use a heat gun to shrink the tubing down to secure the connection and create an additional seal against
water intrusion. (Do not apply excessive heat directly to shrink tube or assembly, as overheating may
result in damage to components.)
