CAUTION! Risk of Cuts, Abrasions or Flying Debris.
Wear protective gloves and safety glasses during instal-
lation. Sheet metal edges are sharp.
Leave this manual with party responsible for use
and operation.
Ceramic Rock Media Instructions
The contents of this kit may be used in place of the glass
media originally supplied with the LUX36 or LUX42 appli-
ances. DO NOT use any other media with this appliance.
1. The LUX36 and LUX42 appliances come with a rock
media placement jig installed. Remove jig before plac-
ing stones in appliance. Discard jig. See Figure 1.

WARNING
Delayed Ignition Risk
Place ceramic rock media according to
instructions.
Do NOT use any media other than the ceramic
rock media supplied with this kit or the glass
media originally supplied with the replace.
Fireplace will not function properly.
Delayed ignition may occur.
2. Cover base pan with one layer of ceramic rock as
shown in Figure 2 and Figure 3. Place stones of
both sizes and all colors on the base pan in a random
fashion.
