Samsung offers so many great refrigerators, but which one is right for your
family’s needs, AND your kitchen? Before you choose the best model, we need
to make sure it will t. Not only in the kitchen, but on the WAY to the kitchen.
Walk the delivery route into your kitchen and identify the narrowest opening that the appliance will travel from
outside the home to the location where it will be installed. Watch out for narrow gates, doors and hallways.
Appliance depth or width must be smaller than the width of the narrowest opening.
Measure the height, width and depth of the
opening, making sure to include baseboards,
molding tile, countertop overhang, etc.
Check to be sure there is enough room to
open the refrigerator doors (consider walls,
islands or other obstacles when measuring).
Allow 5” of clearance on the hinge side of the
refrigerator when installing next to a wall
where the handle or door may contact. This
will allow for the door to open 90 degrees.
To enable maximum refrigerator performance,
add 1/8” on each side, 1” on top and 2” in the
back for air ow.
