If any parts are missingor damaged, stop and contact
your Authorized Service Center, Do not assemble until
you have all the parts.
1.Turnthe drumupside downon the floorwiththe drain
facing you.
2. Insert (2) caster feet into the bottom of drum as
shown. Lighttaps with a hammer may be needed to
fullyseat the casterfeet.

3. Locate the rightand lefthand legs.Separate the legs
from the molded connection.Locate the rightand left
cradles. Separate the cradles from the moldedcon-
nections.
4. Insert right and left legs into right and left cradles.
(Slot on legshouldlineup with holeon cradle)
5. Rotate drumso thatdrain faces away from you.
6. Hold right leg in right hand and right cradle in left
hand.
7. Line up right cradle stem with hole in drum. insert
stem intohole in drum and positionlip on leg behind
lipon drum. Lighttapswith a hammer maybe needed
to fully seat the rightcradle.
8. Repeat step6 for leftcradleand leftleg.

9. Mount (1) retaining ring onto one end of axle. Using
pliers,snap retainingring intogrooveon axle.
10. Slidewheel ontoopen end of axle.
11. Slide open end of axle thru cradle left and left leg,
makingsure the leg slot linesup withthe cradlehole.
Slidealltheway throughthecradle rightand rightleg.
Light taps with a hammer may be required to fully
insertaxle.

12. Slide wheel onto open end of the axle and mount
secondretainingring.

13. Insert the caster stem intothe socket of the caster
footas shown. (Frontcastersonly)
14. Push on the casteruntilthe ballon the caster stem is
insertedallthe way intothe socket.Youwillbe ableto
hear the ballsnap intothe socketand the casterwill
swiveleasilywhen positioningiscorrect.
15. Flipdrumuprightsoas to restontwocasters and two
10"wheels.

16.Slide plastichandle bracket ontoright and left legs.
17. Slide metal handle into (2) holes on plastic handle
bracket.
18.Align holesin handlewith holein legand plastichan-
dle bracket.

19. Install (2) #10 x 314 screws into (2) holes on legs with
(2) matching holes on handle for each side.
NOTE: To adjust height, slide metal handle up till one hole
is visible on each side. The (2) holes on legs should then
line up with (2) holes on metal handle.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal Injury or dam-
age to unit from handle failure, make sure the SCIONSare
fully screwed in and snug, but not so tight they crack the
p astic.

20. Locate(2) tabson plastichandlebracketand position
(2) slots on tote, Slide tote down over (2) tabs on
bracket.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury:
Before Each Use
Check for missing, damaged or broken pads.
Repair any damage and replace any missing
parts before using cart.
During Use
To reduce the risk of being struck by or pulled
down by a rolling vac:
Block the casters on any uneven or sloped sur-
face before starting to vacuum.
Use extra care on uneven surfaces that let the
cart tip or rock.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of back injury, falls or
impact from falling vac: Limit the weight in the drum
before lifting the vac or moving it up or down stairs.
For liquids, drain the vac drum. For heavy, dry me-
dia, empty the vac drum. Get help when you need to
life the vac to empty It, or tip the drum over on it's
side and pour the media into a disposal container.
Maintenance
Casters and Wheels
Should your cart become hard to roll or squeak, you
shouldplace twoor three drops ofgeneral purposeoilon
each wheel at the axle.
Frame and Handles
Your metal handle isplatedto prevent rust,however, liq-
uidsand corrosivedebris shouldbe wiped offwitha soft
clothshouldtheycome in contactwith the handle.
