DIAGNOSTIC DESCRIPTION
OFF No power, check for 24VAC power to the board
ON Normal Operation
1 Flash
Anti short cycle timer activated with compressor demand, anti short cycle is 5
minutes long
2 Flashes
Low pressure switch lockout. Low pressure switch is open. The pressure switch is
ignored the first 90 seconds after the compressor is energized in the heating mode
3 Flashes High pressure lock out. High pressure switch is open
4 Flashes
Ambient sensor fault (outdoor temp sensor). Sensor Ohm out, check for resistance
and compare to the 10k thermistor chart. If the sensor fails, the control will revert
to a time and temp defrost
5 Flashes
Coil Sensor Fault (Coil temp Sensor). Sensor Ohm out, check for resistance and
compare to the 10k thermistor chart. If the sensor fails, the unit will not defrost
6 Flashes
Low pressure switch lockout. If the low-pressure switch opens in the heating mode
3 times within 120 minutes, the unit will lockout the compressor. If the low-pressure
switch opens 3 times in the cooling mode, the board will lockout the compressor
7 Flashes
High Pressure switch lockout. If the high-pressure switch opens 3 times during a
heating call within 90 minutes, the board will lockout the compressor. If the high-
pressure switch opens 3 times during the same call for cooling, the board will lock
out the compressor
