1. Press any other buttons
except the DISP or EJECT
button on the front panel to
turn the unit on. Or press
the POWER button on the
remote control.
2. Press the OPEN button
on the front panel to open
the LCD.
3. Touch the “Agree” button
on the screen.
It is different according to
language.
4. Touch the “SETUP” but-
ton on the screen.
5. Touch the “ENTER” button
for more than 4 seconds on
the remote control.
To upgrade the new map data

6. Insert the upgrade DVD
disc after checking LCD,
“Check drive...” & “Insert
disc and Wait ...”.
7. After checking the “Mount
Disc. OK . . .” message,
touch “MP Upgrade” on the
center of screen. Then “MP
upgrade” under-bar mes-
sage is displayed on the
LCD.
The upgrade will be start-
ed. It will take about 30
minutes, to continue the
process.
Check drive . . .
Insert Disc and Wait . . .
Write CFC Image (all)

8. Automatically, the upgrade
disc is rejected. Pull out the
upgrade disc.
9. The “MP Upgrade OK ...”
message is displayed on
the LCD.
10. Turn the unit off. And
then turn the unit on.
11. Touch the “Agree” button
on the screen.
It is different according
to language.
12. Press the “8998” on the
remote control at below
screen (tuner mode).
Please remove the CD the Loader ...

13. After checking SW ver,
press the “Exit” button.

14. Insert the map disc.
15. Touch the “NAVI/MENU”
button on the monitor.
16. Touch the “SETUP”
button on the screen.
17. Touch the “Download”
button on the screen.

map. For other countries,
use the map disc to down-
load the desired map into
the memory.
Please refer to the manual
for downloading instruc-
tions. (Follow steps 14-22.)

18. Touch the map you want
to download.
19. Touch the “Download”
button.
20. Touch the “OK” button.
21. The map data from the
map disc is downloaded
into the memory of the
navigation unit.
22. Touch the “OK” button
when the installation is
completed.
