General Safety Instructions
Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and
keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the
internal packing.
The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose.
This appliance is not fi t for commercial use.
Keep the device away from heat, direct sunshine and sharp edges.
Do not use the appliance with wet hands.
Do not use the device in a damp or humid environment.
In order to avoid an electric shock, this device must not be exposed to dripping water or
water spray.
Before disposing of the device, remove the batteries and return them to a corresponding
battery collection point.
Pay careful attention to the following “Special Safety Instructions“.
Children
In order to ensure your children‘s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes,
polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
Caution! Do not allow small children to play with the foil as there is a danger of suffo-
cation!
To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical appliances, make sure that the
cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the appliance.
Special Safety Instructions for this Device
The milk foamer should always be immersed in the liquid before it is switched on.
Please do not use the foamer if the axle is bent.
This device should only be used for the purpose intended.
Please do not immerse the housing in water.
Before Initial Use
Please wipe off the milk foamer with a moist cloth before initial use or when it has not been
used for a prolonged period.
Inserting the Batteries (Batteries are not supplied)
The battery compartment is located under the on/off switch. Push open the battery
compartment lock to the side.

Insert 2 batteries of type UM3 „AA“ 1.5 V. Ensure the correct polarity (see the fl oor of
the battery compartment or the imprint on the outside)! If the device is not used for a
prolonged period, please remove the batteries in order to prevent battery acid from
leaking.
Different battery types or new and used batteries must not be used together.
Then close the battery lid.
Note: Batteries should not be disposed of in normal domestic waste. Please return used
batteries to the appropriate collection points or to the dealer where you bought them.
Never throw batteries into a fi re.
Operation
Foaming Milk
Please use only fresh milk (preferably full-cream milk). The vessel should not to be
preheated. Please ensure that the vessel is only a quarter full as the volume of the milk will
increase greatly during foaming.
1. Pour a little milk into a suitable narrow vessel (e.g. a glass).
2. Immerse the foaming coil completely in the milk.
3. In order to start the milk foamer, please keep the on/off switch on the top of the device
pressed down.
4. Move the foamer smoothly up and down inside the vessel until the milk has foamed
suffi ciently. Please ensure that the coil always remains immersed in the milk.
5. When the switch is released the device turns off automatically. Are only then should you
remove the foaming spiral from the vessel.
6. Transfer the foam to the coffee using a spoon.
With your milk foamer you can also prepare small quantities of salad dressing, mixed drinks,
shakes and egg white.
Cleaning and Care
You can also remove the foaming spiral to clean it. To do so, pull the spiral out of the
device.
Please clean the device immediately after use under warm running water. It is also
possible to switch the machine on briefl y. In order to avoid splashes, hold the foamer in
the sink or wash basin.
Please do not immerse the housing in water. If necessary, the housing should only be
wiped off with a moist cloth.
Please do not use any caustic detergents or abrasives.

This device has been tested according to all relevant current CE guidelines, such as electro-
magnetic compatibility and low voltage directives, and has been constructed in accordance
with the latest safety regulations.

Guarantee
The device supplied by our Company is covered by a 24 month guarantee starting on the
date of purchase (receipt).
During the life of the guarantee any fault of the device or its accessories ascribable to
material or manufacturing defects will be eliminated free of charge by repairing or, at our
discretion, by replacing it. The guarantee services do not entail an extension of the life of the
guarantee nor do they give rise to any right to a new guarantee!
Proof of the guarantee is provided by the proof of purchase. Without proof of purchase no
free replacement or repair will be carried out.
If you wish to make a claim under the guarantee please return the entire machine in the
original packaging to your dealer together with the receipt.
Defects to consumables or parts subject to wearing as well as cleaning, maintenance or the
replacement of said parts are not covered by the guarantee and hence are to be paid!
The guarantee lapses in case of unauthorized tampering.
After the expiry of the guarantee
After the expiry of the guarantee repairs can be carried by the competent dealer or repair
service against the payment of the ensuing costs.
