α Fitting Instructions
AlfaCassette electric radiant heating cassettes, 230V, are approved in IP55 design for
permanent installation by a qualied electrician, to comply with current regulations and
carry the CE Approval Mark.
1. AlfaCassette is a universal model that may be tted into ceiling grids/
suspended ceilings with T-prole 15mm or 24mm (Fig.2) or tted onto the
ceiling using the standard supplied brackets. Lowest recommended height is
2.3m, although approved for 1.8m. The minimum distance to xed objects is
given in the Fig.1.
2. When tting direct onto the ceiling, secure the bracket with screws on each
side with distance C/C1 and C/C2 (see Fig.3), then insert the AlfaCassette
in the bracket.
3. Hang the AlfaCassette vertically (Fig.4) and connect the cable.
4. Swing up and secure the AlfaCassette horizontally into the bracket.
Note: Take care the xings do not come unhooked at the other side when
swinging the unit!
5. Aerosols, paints, solvents and dust may adhere to the heater and
cause some discolouration if the heater is switched on.
α Fitting Instructions
AlfaStrip electric radiant heaters are approved in IP44 design for permanent installation by
a qualied electrician, to comply with the current regulations and carry the CE Approval
Mark.
AlfaStrip may be tted to the ceiling where the lowest tting height is 2.3m from the oor.
The minimum distance to xed objects is given in the below table.
Ceiling brackets should be tted with the centre to centre distance as per the below table.
The brackets should be rmly xed to the ceiling, then the heater placed onto the brackets
and secured rmly.
For AS30 and AS42 heaters, we recommend the use of the ceiling brackets, due to the
possibility with slight warping if suspended by wires/chains, however, the heating effect
remains the same.
Aerosols, paints, solvents and dust may adhere to the heating panel and cause some
discolouration if the heater is switched on. The performance of the heater remains the same.
When rst switched on, some burning smell and discolouration may occur.
Wiring should be in accordance to the regulations and the wiring diagram and carried out
by a qualied electrician. The heating elements can be replaced with the heater in situ.
