Windshield Washers
The washer is operated by pulling the lever
toward you and hold while spray is desired. If
the lever is pulled while in the delay range, the
wiper will start and continue to operate for two
or three wipe cycles after the lever is released.
Mist Feature
The mist feature is operated by pushing down
on the lever to activate a single wipe. The
wipers will continue to operate while the lever is
held down.

Jacking And Tire Changing
The jack and lug wrench are located in the rear
storage compartment.

Four–Wheel Drive Operation
(Command-Trac I Or Rock-Trac)
The transfer case provides four mode positions:
• 2H (Two-Wheel Drive High Range): This range
is used for normal street and highway driving
on hard-surfaced roads.
• 4H (Four-Wheel Drive High Range): This range
locks the front and rear driveshafts together,
forcing the front and rear wheels to rotate at
the same speed. This range (4H) provides
additional traction for loose, slippery road
surfaces, and should not be used on dry
pavement.
• N (Neutral): This range disengages the front
and rear driveshafts from the powertrain. It
is to be used for flat towing behind another
vehicle.
• 4L (Four-Wheel Drive Low Range): This range
locks the front and rear driveshafts together,
forcing the front and rear wheels to rotate at
the same speed. This range (4L) provides
