instructions.
2.1 Meaning of the supplement to the operating instructions
The supplement to the operating instructions is an important document and a part of the
machine. It is aimed at the user and contains safety-relevant information.
If the supplement to the operating instructions is not observed, people may be seriously injured
or killed.
Read in full and follow the “Safety” chapter of the corresponding operating instructions
before using the machine for the first time,Applicable documents.
Before working, also read and observe the respective sections of the corresponding
operating instructions,Applicable documents.
Keep the supplement to the operating instructions ready to hand for the user of the machine.
Hand over the supplement to the operating instructions to subsequent users.
3 Start-up

3.1 Connecting hydraulic hoses
KMG000-076
Depressurise the tractor hydraulics.
Shut down and safeguard the machine, refer to the Safety chapter in the operating
instructions, “Shutting Down and Safeguarding the Machine”.
Clean and dry the connections of the quick couplings.
Connect the hydraulic hoses (2+/2-) to a double-acting control unit on the tractor, with the
locking device in neutral position.

4.1 Folding down side guard (working position)
KMG000-079
ü The machine is in the working position.
Unlock the control unit of the tractor.
WARNING!Crushing hazard when folding down the side guards! Before folding down the
side guards ensure that there is no one in the danger zone.
Actuate the double-acting control unit (2-) until the side guards (1) are folded down.
Shut down and safeguard the machine, refer to the Safety chapter in the operating
instructions, “Shutting Down and Safeguarding the Machine”.
Secure the guard cloths using the turnlock fasteners (2).

ü The machine is in the working position.
Shut down and safeguard the machine, refer to the Safety chapter in the operating
instructions, “Shutting Down and Safeguarding the Machine”.
Open the turnlock fasteners (2).
Actuate the double-acting control unit (2+) until the side guards (1) are folded up.
Lock the control unit of the tractor.
