There have been a few changes to the Mr. Heater Vent Free heater line over the past few years, including

two different versions of a blower that is only compatible with certain models. The main difference in the

blower being the shape of the opening on the back as depicted below. Compatibility is dictated by the

body type of the heater.

To help clarify any questions, here is a breakdown of Mr. Heater Vent Free heaters and what blower model

with which they are compatible with examples of the vent free body shape. If you have any additional

questions, please contact Technical Service.

This does not apply to 10,000 BTU units. Blowers are only utilized with 20,000 – 30,000 BTU units

It does apply to both radiant and blue flame models of either propane or natural gas.
