INTRODUCTION:
Open Top Trash Can is great for offices, restaurants, lobbies or any
high-traffic venue. Its extra-wide and open lid design is quick and easy
to access, making it an ideal choice for busy settings. It is equipped with
two carbon filter deodorizer compartments, doubling the odor
elimination power. Low maintenance required with the fingerprint-proof
and smudge-resistant stainless steel finish. Open Top Trash Can is
available in 13 and 16 gallon capacities.
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Remove Lid Unit from the trash can.
2. Install Filter Compartment located on the underside of Lid Unit
(See instructions for USING THE ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER).
3. Place one 13 gallon to 18 gallon trash bag inside trash can.
4. Place Lid Unit onto the can body and ensure it is securely
attached.

Note: Clean the can body with products safe for use on
stainless steel.
USING THE ACTIVATED CARBON FILTER
The Open Top Trash Can is equipped with two Deodorizer
Compartments that house the powerful Activated Carbon Filters to
eliminate up to 90% of the odors in the trash can. One (1)
replaceable Activated Carbon Filter is pre-installed inside each of the
Deodorizer Compartments. Please follow instructions below to
maximize the filter power.
1. Remove and turn Lid Unit upside
down (Fig. 1) to locate Deodorizer
Compartment.
2. Push Deodorizer Compartment
(Fig. 2) toward the outer edge of
Lid Unit to remove Filter
Compartment.
3. Remove Activated Carbon Odor
Filter from Deodorizer
Compartment.
4. Tear open and throw away the
clear plastic bag covering the
Activated Carbon Odor Filter
pouch (Do NOT cut open the
filter pouch).
5. Insert the Activated Carbon Filter
pouch (Fig. 3) into Filter
Compartment (make sure the
pouch is completely inside
Deodorizer Compartment).
6. Return the Deodorizer
Compartment to Lid Unit. Pull
Deodorizer Compartment toward
the inner edge of Lid Unit to lock
the Filter Compartment. There
should be 2 clicks to ensure
the installation is secured.
Tips:
Replace Activated Carbon Odor
Filter every 3 months or when
odor becomes too strong
Order new Activated Carbon
Filters from haloquality.com
Filter Compartment can be
washed if it gets dirty
Used Activated Carbon Filter

trash can

with the highest quality
components and most advanced technologies available. The trash can
is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship,
given normal use and care, for 3 years from the date of the original
purchase with proof of purchase within the United States and Canada.
halo will only honor warranty requests from orders placed with our
authorized dealers. Items sold as used, floor sample or refinished are
sold solely under the terms and conditions of the selling party; halo will
not warrant such purchase.
The warranty is the customers’ exclusive remedy for product defect
and does not apply to:
User modification
Attachments to product by user that causes damage
Any product, on which the seals and/or serial numbers have
been broken, remove, tampered with, defaced or altered in any
manner
Damage caused by abuse, misuse, accident, water of theft
Except as stated above, halo makes no express or implied warranties
as to any product, in particular, makes no warranty of merchantability
or of fitness for any particular purpose. halo shall not be liable for
consequential or incidental damages arising from any product defect.
Our Liability is limited to the replacement of any defective product.
halo expressly disclaims all warranties not satisfied in this limited
warranty. Any implied warranties that may be imposed by law are
limited to the terms of this limited warranty. The detachable carbon
filter compartments are not covered by this warranty.
If trash can should fail during the warranty period, contact us at
http://www.haloquality.com/contact to submit a request for warranty
service. An administrative fee is assessed to cover the cost of
shipping, packaging, and administration. The required administrative
fee is subject to location. Fee references are as following: for
Contiguous 48 U.S. States $9.95 and up, for Canada $19.95 USD and
up, for Alaska and Hawaii $29.95 and up.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have
other rights that vary from state to state and province to province.
