2.8 Essayez dâavoir quelquâun Ă proximitĂ©
lorsque vous travaillez prĂšs dâune batterie
au plomb.
2.9 Ayez assez dâeau fraĂźche et du savon Ă
proximitĂ© au cas oĂč votre peau, vos yeux
ou vos vĂȘtements entreraient en contact
avec lâacide de la batterie.
2.10 Portez des lunettes et des vĂȘtements de
protection. Ăvitez de toucher vos yeux
lorsque vous travaillez à proximité de la
batterie.
2.11 Si lâacide de batterie entre en contact
avec votre peau ou vos vĂȘtements, lavez
immĂ©diatement lâendroit avec de lâeau et du
savon. Si lâacide entre en contact avec vos
yeux, rincez immĂ©diatement lâĆil avec de
lâeau froide coulante pendant au moins 10
minutes et consultez aussitÎt un médecin.
2.12 Si lâacide de batterie est avalĂ©e
accidentellement boire du lait, les blancs
dâĆufs ou de lâeau. NE PAS faire vomir.
Consulter un médecin immédiatement.

2.13 Nettoyer les bornes de la batterie avant
dâutilisĂ©e lâunitĂ©. Lors du nettoyage, ne
laissez pas les particules de corrosion entrer
en contact avec vos yeux, votre nez et votre
bouche. Utilisez du bicarbonate de sodium
et de lâeau pour neutraliser lâĂ©lectrolyte de
batterie et aider Ă Ă©liminer les particules de
corrosion dans lâair. Ne vous touchez pas
les yeux, le nez ou la bouche.
2.14 Ajoutez de lâeau distillĂ©e dans chaque
Ă©lĂ©ment de batterie jusquâĂ que le niveau
dâacide atteigne celui spĂ©ciîżĂ© par le
fabricant de la batterie. Ne pas faire
déborder. Pour une batterie dont les
Ă©lĂ©ments nâont pas de bouchons, comme
les « VRLA » (accumulateur au plomb â
acide à régulation par soupape) suivez
attentivement les directives du fabricant.
2.15 Lisez, comprenez et suivez toutes les
directives pour le aide de démarrage, la
batterie, le véhicule et tout autre appareil
utilisé au voisinage de la batterie et du
aide au démarrage.
2.16 DĂ©terminez la tension de la batterie en
vous rĂ©fĂ©rant au manuel dâutilisation de
votre véhicule et assurez-vous que la
tension de sortie du booster est correcte.
2.17 Assurez-vous que les pinces des cĂąbles
du aide au démarrage sont fermement
connectées.
2.18 AVERTISSEMENT : Ce produit contient

congĂ©nitales ou dâautres troubles de la

3. CONNECTE LE AIDE AU DĂMARRAGE
AVERTISSEMENT!

POUR RĂDUIRE LE RISQUE DâUNE
ĂTINCELLE PRĂS DE LA BATTERIE:
3.1 Fixez les cĂąbles de sortie Ă la batterie et
le chùssis, comme indiqué ci-dessous.
Ne jamais laisser les pinces de sortie de
toucher lâautre.
3.2 Positionnez les cĂąbles CC pour quâils ne
risquent aucun dommage par le capot,
la porte ou toute autre partie du moteur
chaude ou en mouvement. NOTE : Sâil
est nécessaire de fermer le capot pendant
le processus dĂ©marrant, ĂȘtre sĂ»rs que le
capot ne touche pas la partie en métal
des clips de batterie ou coupe lâisolation
des cĂąbles.
3.3 Tenez-vous Ă lâĂ©cart des pales de
ventilateur, des courroies, des poulies
et autres piĂšces qui peuvent causer des
blessures.
3.4 VĂ©riîżez la polaritĂ© des bornes de la
batterie. La borne POSITIVE (POS, P, +)
de la batterie a généralement un plus
grand diamĂštre que la borne NĂGATIVE
(NEG, N, -).
3.5 Déterminez la borne négative de la
batterie (connectée au chùssis). Si
la borne négative est connectée au
chùssis (dans la plupart des véhicules),
voir lâĂ©tape 3.6. Si la borne positive est
connectĂ©e au chĂąssis, voir lâĂ©tape 3.7.
3.6 Pour les véhicules mis à la masse négative,
connectez la pince POSITIVE (ROUGE)
du aide de démarrage à la borne de la
batterie POSITIVE (POS, P, +), non mise Ă
la masse. Connectez la pince NĂGATIVE
(NOIRE) au chassis du véhicule ou au
bloc moteur Ă lâĂ©cart de la batterie. Ne
pas connecter la pince au carburateur, Ă
la canalisation dâessence ou Ă des piĂšces
de carrosserie en tĂŽle. Connectez Ă une
grosse piÚce de métal de la carrosserie ou
du bloc moteur.
