Intermediate HDMI Ampli er Instruction Manual
- Intermediate ampli er for HDMI cables
- If very long cables are required e.g. for wiring projectors or for display
walls!
- The weak high-frequency digital signals are forwarded pulse-stabilised
and ampli ed
- The intermediate HDMI ampli er allows you to more than double the
maximum distance between the signal source and signal receiving
device.
Cable length which can be used with the intermediate ampli er:
- 1080p resolution: approx. 25m total length
- 1080i/720p resolution: approx. 35m total length
- If high-end cables and devices are used, even longer distances can be
connected
- The cable lengths which can be implemented depend on the perfor-
mance data of the signal source (DVD player, graphics card etc.) and the
signal receiving device (monitor, projector, TV etc.) and on the quality
of the cable. With uncerti ed cables, crosstalk and runtime differences
between the data channels can completely distort the data signal or
render it useless.
- The intermediate ampli er should be inserted after approx. 2/3 of the
distance
- Power is supplied via the signal device. No external power supply unit is
required
