Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new appliance.
You have clearly decided in favor of a quality product. The oper-
ating instructions are part of this product. They contain important
information about safety, usage, and disposal. Before using the
product, please familiarize yourself with all operating and safety
instructions. Use the product only as described and for the speci-
fied range of applications. In addition, please pass these docu-
ments on, together with the product, to any future owner.
Warning types
The following warning types are used in these operating instruc-
tions:
This is the safety alert symbol. It is used to alert you to
potential injury hazards. Obey all safety messages that
follow this symbol to avoid possible injury and death.
DANGER indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided,
will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided,
could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION indicates a hazardous situation that, if not avoided,
could result in minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE indicates information that is considered important, but
not hazardous (e. g. messages related to property damage).

Safety instructions
This section contains important safety instructions for using the ap-
pliance. This appliance complies with statutory safety regulations.
Improper use may result in personal injury and property damage.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present,
basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
2. To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs
or the appliance in water or other liquids.
3. The appliance must be connected to correctly installed and
grounded power sockets only. Make sure that the rating of
your local power supply corresponds to the details on the
rating plate of the appliance.
4. Cleaning and user maintenance tasks may not be carried out
by children unless they are supervised.
5. Do not allow children to use the appliance as a toy.
6. Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used
near children or invalids.
7. Unplug the appliance from the outlet if it malfunctions and
before cleaning.
8. Always pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance from the
mains; never pull on the power cable itself.
9. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord
or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance
to the nearest authorized service provider for examination,
repair or electrical/mechanical adjustment.
10. The power cord on this appliance cannot be replaced. If the
cord is damaged, the whole appliance must be scrapped.

11. The use of attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock, or injury to
persons.
12. Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance, and
protect it from being damaged.
13. Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter.
14. Do not kink or crush the power cable, and route the cable
so that it cannot be stepped on or tripped over.
15. Make sure that the power cord never gets wet or damp
during operation. Position the cord so that it cannot be
pinched or otherwise damaged.
16. Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cords to be
replaced as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by
our customer service department to avoid the risk of injury.
17. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.

Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric
burner, or in a heated oven.
19.
Do not place or store the appliance where it can fall or be
pulled into a tub or sink.
20.
To disconnect the appliance, pull the plug out of the wall
outlet.
21. Never drop or insert any object into any opening or hose.

Use this product only for its intended use as described in this
manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the
manufacturer.
23. Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in use.

ATTENTION! Keep the charger, power cable and adapter
dry.
Never use the adapter near water, and keep it away
from sinks, baths and other similar containers. The
proximity of water is hazardous, even if the appliance is
turned off. Always disconnect the plug from the power
socket after use.
If any liquid gets into the housing, unplug the appliance imme-
diately and have it repaired by a qualified technician.
Do not use the power adapter outside.
Never use the appliance for purposes other than those de-
scribed in these instructions. Otherwise there is a risk of seri-
ous injury!
Never touch the power cable or power plug with wet hands.
Use the appliance only with the supplied power adapter.
Extended use may cause extreme warming of the skin.
Therefore, take frequent breaks. Otherwise, there is a risk of
burns!
Do not use on injured, sore or irritated skin.
Do not open the housing or attempt to repair the appliance
yourself. This can lead to hazards and also invalidates the
warranty. Defective appliances should be repaired by
authorized specialists or customer service department only.
During operation, keep long hair and clothes at a safe
distance to the appliance.

The callus remover is suitable for use in the shower or
bath tub. However, do not submerge the appliance
entirely in water.
Before changing accessories or other parts that are in motion
during operation, the appliance must be turned off and dis-
connected from the power supply.
Do not use the appliance in direct sunlight or near appliances
generating heat.
Defective components must always be replaced with original
replacement parts. Compliance with safety requirements can
only be guaranteed if original replacement parts are used.
Protect the appliance from impacts, dust, chemicals, extreme
temperature fluctuations, etc. and keep it away from sources
of heat (ovens, radiators).
Never use the appliance under blankets, pillows, etc.
Ensure that the drive can always rotate freely. Otherwise, the
appliance may overheat and be damaged beyond repair.
Intended use
This appliance is intended exclusively for the removal of hard skin
(calluses) on your feet. It is intended for domestic use only. Not for
commercial use.
The appliance is not intended for any other purpose, nor for use
beyond the scope described.

Risks may arise if the appliance is used for unintended purposes
and/or other types of use.
Use the appliance exclusively for its intended purposes.

tions.
Claims of any kind for damage resulting from improper use,
incompetent repairs, unauthorized modifications, or the use of
non-approved spare parts will not be accepted. The operator
alone bears liability.

Remove all parts of the appliance from the packaging and remove
all packaging materials.

Do not allow children to play with packaging materials!
Check the package for completeness and signs of visible dam-
age. If the delivery is incomplete or damage has occurred as
a result of defective packaging or during transport, contact the
customer service department.

Disposal of the packaging
The packaging protects the device from damage during transport.
The packaging materials have been selected for their environmen-
tal friendliness and ease of disposal, and are therefore recyclable.
Returning the packaging into the material cycle con-
serves raw materials and reduces the amount of waste
generated. Dispose of packaging materials that are no
longer needed in accordance with applicable local
regulations.
Note the marking on the different packaging materials
and separate them as necessary. The packaging
materials are marked with abbreviations (b) and
numbers (a) with the following meanings:
1–7: Plastics
20–22: Paper and cardboard
80–98: Composites

- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

General
Hard skin (calluses) can form where the skin is exposed to particular
stress due to rubbing and pressure.
If the hard skin becomes too thick, e.g. due to ill-fitting shoes or
very dry skin, this can lead to pain.
If necessary, clarify the cause of excessive callus formation with
your doctor.

Use
Charging the battery
1) Connect the power adapter t of the charger e to a power
socket.
2) Place the callus remover on the charger e so that the two
contact points 8 on the underside of the callus remover are
aligned with the contact points of the charger w. Ensure that
the contact points 8/w are completely dry.
3) The green, flashing charge level LED 7 on top of the appli-
ance indicates that charging is in process. Once the appliance
is fully charged, the green charge level LED 7 on top of the
appliance lights up green.
The appliance needs approximately 3 hours to fully charge
the first time.
When the appliance is fully charged, you can use it for
approx. 2 hours.
If the charge level of the integrated battery runs low during
operation, the charge level LED7 will begin to flash.
Charge the battery as described.
Inserting/replacing the pumice attachment
To order new pumice attachments 3/0, please contact the
customer service department. Please have the IAN number
ready (see operating instructions cover).
To remove a pumice attachment 3/0:
1) Press the release 4 downward and simultaneously pull the
side of the pumice attachment 3/0 next to the release 4
upward.

2) You can then pull the pumice attachment 3/0 out of the drive
shaft socket 9.
To fit a pumice attachment 3/0 (see fig. 1):
1) Push the pumice attachment 3/0 with the drive shaft q into
the drive shaft socket 9.
2) Press the other side of the pumice attachment 3/0 down-
ward. Ensure that the catch 2 slides correctly into the groove
and clicks into place.

Using the appliance
RISK OF INJURY!
Excessively long or intensive treatment can also injure deeper
layers of skin. Therefore, check the treatment progress and re-
sults regularly. Diabetics in particular are less sensitive in their
hands and feet.
The appliance will not be so effective on softened skin. There-
fore, do not carry out any pretreatment in a water bath before
using the appliance.
Stop treatment immediately if it becomes uncomfortable or
painful.

1) Select the desired pumice attachment 3/0:
Coarse pumice attachment 3 (gray) for particularly thick
calluses
Fine pumice attachment 0 (turquoise) for mild calluses and
to smooth the skin.
2) Fit the pumice attachment 3/0 as described in the "Use”
section.
3) Press the On/Off switch 6. The pumice attachment 3/0
starts to turn. Press the speed switch 5 to choose between a
high and low rotation speed.
4) Applying light pressure, move the appliance slowly over the
hard skin that you want to remove. Move the appliance in
different directions. During the treatment, do not linger in one
particular place. The friction can cause unpleasant heat.
5) Once you have completed the treatment, push the On/Off
switch 6.
6) Remove any skin residue and dust from the pumice attach-
ment 3/0 and the hand element using the supplied cleaning
brushr.
After the treatment, massage the skin with a skincare cream.

Cleaning and maintenance
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Before cleaning the charger e, disconnect the power adapt-
ert.
PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not use chemical, aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents.
They can damage the surface of the appliance.
Never immerse the charger e or power adapter t in water
or other liquids.
Clean the appliance, especially the pumice attachments 3/
0, with the cleaning brush r after every use.
Clean the appliance and the pumice attachments 3/0 with
a damp cloth. Afterwards, dry the appliance with a clean, dry
cloth.
For hygienic reasons, we recommend cleaning the attach-
ments with a clean cloth or brush cleaned with a disinfectant
after every use. Afterwards, dry the appliance with a clean,
dry cloth.
Clean the charger e with a damp cloth. Afterwards, dry it with
a clean, dry cloth. Ensure that the charger e is completely dry
before using the appliance again.

Storage
Store the appliance in a dry and clean location.
Disposal
The integrated rechargeable battery in this appliance cannot be
removed for disposal.
Disposal of the appliance
Electrical appliances may not be thrown away as part of normal
household trash. If you can no longer use your electrical appliance,
dispose of it in accordance with the legal provisions applicable
in your state. This will ensure that old electrical appliances are
recycled and environmental pollution is kept to a minimum.
