Charging Instructions

1. Insert1to4piecesofAA/AAA/C/Dor1to2piecesof9VcellrechargeableNi-MHbatteriesintothe

batterycompartment.

2. Makesureyouinsertthebatteriesaccordingtotheindicatedpolarity.Thechargerwilladjustthe

suitablechargingcurrentforAA/AAA/C/D/9Vbatteryautomatically.

3. ConnectthesuppliedACadapter’sbarrelplugintothejackonthebackofthecharger.PlugtheAC

adaptorintotheACwallsocket.

Caution:ThesuppliedACadaptersupplies12VDCanddelivers1000mAanditsplugtsintothe

charger’sDCinputjack.Usinganadapterthatdoesnotmeetthesespecicationscoulddamagethe

chargerortheadapter.

1. TheLCDwillindicatethechargingstatusandtheword“Charging”willbedisplayed(theblue

backlightwilllightupduringthechargingprocessandturnoffoncethebatteriesarefullycharged).

2. Afterthebatteriesarefullycharged,theword“FULL”ontheLCDscreenindicatesthatthebatteries

arereadytouse.

3. Unplugthechargerandremovethebatteriesfromthechargerwhennotinuse.

BeginagainatStep1tochargethenextsetofbatteries.

Discharging Instructions

1. Followsteps1–3fromthe“ChargingInstructions”.

2. TheLCDwillindicatethedischargingstatusandtheword“Discharging”willbedisplayed(theblue

backlightwilllightupduringthedischargingprocess).The4batteryiconswillkeepashinguntilall

thebatterieshavebeendischarged.

Note:Thedischargeprocesswillnotfunctionwhenyoupressthe“dischargebutton”morethan1

minuteafterthechargingprocessstarted.

Afterthebatteriesarefullydischarged,chargingprocesswillbestartedautomatically.

Bad Cell Detection

Whenthechargeprocessisstarted,thechargerdoescheckthehealthstatusofeachbattery.Ifoneor

morebatteriesareunsuitableforchargingbecauseofshortcircuitorreversedpolarity,theword“BAD”

willbedisplayedontheLCDscreenandthe“batteryicon”willash.
