Please read these instructions carefully before using the toy and keep for future reference.
Runs on 3 x 1.5 volt AA batteries (included). The batteries supplied with this product, at the
point of sale, are intended for demonstration purposes only; please replace them with
alkaline batteries immediately after completing your purchase.

ATTENTION!
Before using the product remove and dispose of any plastic bags and any other packaging
(e.g. fasteners and xing ties etc) and keep them out of reach of children. Suffocation hazard.
Check the product regularly for signs of wear and damage and to ensure that it is assem-
bled correctly. Should any part be damaged, do not use the toy and keep it out of reach of
children.
Always use under constant supervision of an adult.
Using this toy in very low temperatures can cause the plastic material to lose its elasticity
and become fragile; should this happen, do not allow the child to use it and store it away in
a warm suitable environment.
• Do not use this toy in any mode other than those illustrated in the manual.
• Do not leave the toy near heat sources or in direct sunlight for long periods of time.
HOW TO USE THE TOY
How to switch the toy on and off and select the language:
To turn the toy ON, move the switch (A) from the (central) 0 position either right or left
according to the desired language as the talking toy activities can be played in two differ-
ent languages. A sound will be heard to conrm it is ON. All the electronic functions are
activated when the toy is switched ON.
If it is not used for a short period of time, the toy will say goodbye to the child and switch
to stand-by mode until any button is pressed again In order to avoid using up the batteries
for no reason, it is recommended to turn off the toy by moving the switch to OFF when
not in use.
Play modes and activities
Select the play mode: “Real-life tool sounds”, “Music” or “Learn”, by moving the switch (B) to
the position for “Real-life tool sounds” mode, to the position for “Music” mode or to
the for “Learn” mode. An electronic sound will conrm the selected mode.
DRILL (C): phrases, short musical compositions, sound effects and a song are played when
the drill lever is lowered.
NAILS (D): pressing the nails several times activates the numbers repeated from 1 to 10, and
sound effects accompanied by light effects.
CLAMP (E): phrases, short musical motifs and a song are played when the clamp is turned.
SAW (F): inserting the saw into the relative slot to cut the wood will activate phrases, sound
effects and the song.
TAPE MEASURE (G): pushing the tape measure in and out will activate phrases, sound effects
and the song.
HOW TO FIT AND REMOVE THE BATTERIES
ATTENTION! Batteries must only be tted by an adult.
To replace the batteries: loosen the screw on the battery compartment cover on the back
of the toy with a screwdriver and remove the cover; then remove the at batteries and t
new ones, ensuring that the battery polarity is correct (as shown on the product), close the
battery compartment cover, and tighten the screw rmly in place.
Always keep batteries and tools out of the reach of children.
Always remove spent batteries from the product to avoid the danger of leakage from the
battery damaging the product.
Always remove the batteries if the product will not be used for a long period of time
Only use alkaline batteries of the same type or equivalent to the type recommended for the
correct function of this product.
Never mix new and old batteries.
If the batteries happen to leak liquid, replace them immediately, making sure you clean the
compartment beforehand; wash your hands thoroughly if you come into contact with any
such liquid.
Remove the batteries from the toy before disposing of the product.
Do not burn or dispose of old batteries into the environment; dispose of them at an appro-
priate differentiated collection point.
Never mix alkaline, standard (zinc-carbon) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries;

be hazardous.
Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries: they might explode.
The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended as the toy may not work properly.

The crossed bin symbol on the appliance indicates that the product, at the end of its

CLEANING, CARE & MAINTENANCE OF THE TOY
The toy should be cleaned using a soft, dry or moistened fabric or microbre cloth to avoid
damage to its electric circuit. Do not use detergents or solvents.
Protect the toy from heat, dust, sand, humidity and water.
• Do not soak the objects in water. It is highly recommended to clean the toy with a dry soft
fabric or micro-bre cloth or moistened in a little water.

Utiliser le jouet sous la surveillance continue d’un adulte

FONCTIONNEMENT DU JOUET
Mise en marche/Arrêt du jouet et sélection de la langue :
Mettre le jouet en marche en déplaçant le bouton (A) de la position 0 (centrale) à la posi-
tion de gauche ou bien de droite en fonction de la langue souhaitée, car les activités par-
lantes du jouet peuvent être écoutées en deux langues. Une réponse sonore conrme la
mise en marche du jouet. Lors de la mise en marche du jouet, toutes les fonctions électro-
niques deviennent actives.
Après une courte pause d’inutilisation, le jouet dit au revoir à l’enfant et se met en pause
jusqu’à la pression d’une quelconque activité.
A la n de l’utilisation, an d’éviter de consommer les piles inutilement, il est conseillé
d’éteindre le jouet en mettant le curseur sur 0.
Activités du jouet
Sélectionner le mode de jeu “Bruits de l’établi”, “Musique” ou bien “Apprentissage”, en met-
tant le bouton (B) dans la position “Bruits de l’établi”, dans la position “Musique” ou
