WaterLabs WL 0525 is a water filter designed to remove dirt and impurities from water. It features standard fittings for easy installation in piping networks, a pressure gauge for monitoring water pressure, and a drain valve for draining water before cleaning. The filter cartridge can be easily removed and cleaned using a brush, soap, and water. It is recommended to clean the cartridge once a month, depending on the water quality. The filter also has a rubber ring to ensure a proper fit and prevent unfiltered water from flowing through the outlet.

Filter Installation:

 Use standard fittings while installing the filter in piping network.

 Ensure correct inlet/outlet direction.

 The direction of water flow can also be seen from arrow on the filter’s inlet/outlet arms where

“screen” is mentioned above the arrow. That is the direction of flow of water. You can also

understand the connections by looking at the picture below or seeing the installation video.

 Never open the filter when it is under pressure.

Cleaning:

 Turnoff the water supply.

 Before opening the filter, drain all water insider the strainer by opening the “drain valve cap”

 Now to open the filter, Remove the bottom housing cover (Cup shaped bottom lid) by rotating it

anticlockwise. Then remove the filter Cartridge slowly.

 Use a brush, some soap and clean water to clean the cartridge and remove all dirt.

 After cleaning Reassemble the cartridge inside the filter body

 Usually it needs to be cleaned only once a month depending on the water quality it might vary

Assembly:

 Ensure the rubber ring is properly fit to the cartridge.

 Ensure the cartridge is properly aligned with top and bottom of filter so that no unfiltered water

flows through the outlet.

 Turn on the water supply

 The pressure gauge connections are used to measure pressure. For Home use Leave them as it is
