Induction top on closed base
The Electrolux 800-Thermaline of cooking equipment is designed for heavy duty use where space is at a
premium. The series consist of a wide choice of modular elements that can be installed as individual,
free-standing units or assembled into a complete cooking suite made virtually seamless by means of
cleverly-designed connecting rails.
The models detailed on this sheet have either 2 or 4 independently controlled induction heating zones mounted
on a closed base unit. Models are available for operation from one side only or from both sides to suit a central
cooking island. Installation options are floor mounted on 100 or 200 mm high feet or a plinth which can be
either steel or masonry construction.
EASY TO USE
Glass ceramic cooking surface with
2 or 4 independently controlled
induction zones.
A magnetic field induces an eddy
current in a cooking pan of
ferromagnetic material, heating it up
directly.
Indicating lamp for each zone.
Fast deployment with full heating
power immediately.
Low heat dissipation to the kitchen.
Power to the individual zones can
be set steplessly with progressive
output i.e. fine regulation at the lower
and larger progress at the upper
levels.
Large coil diameters of 260 mm
gives a uniform heat also to large
sized pans.
Pans can be moved from one
appliance to another without lifting.
Fitted on a closed base.
Convenient operation with highly
visible control panels and knobs.
All appliances conform to ruling
European safety and hygiene
standards and are H marked.
EASY TO MAINTAIN
The smooth, glass ceramic plate is
not directly heated, so there is no
burning on the cooking surface.
Body, cupboard and support are
made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
No gaps or dirt traps between
adjoining appliances when
connecting rails are fitted.
All major components may be easily
accessed from the front.
The appliances are IP X5 certified
against water jets.
Hygenic design of the open base
compartement with large round edges.
If an error occours in the appliance,
it will be displayed by pulsation of the
green operation lamp. The series of
pulsation shows the kind of error.
EASY ON THE ENVIRONMENT
Pot recognition system which
recognises if a cooking pot is on the
plate or not switches the power on
and off automatically to reduce
wasted enegy.
The efficiency of the induction
system is up to 94% because
generator losses are low and the heat
is solely produced in the cooking pan.
98% recyclable by weight.
Packing free of toxic substances.
