Packaging
The packaging and some parts of your appliance are
made from recyclable materials. These materials are
marked with the recycling symbol and the relevant material
type (PE, PS, POM).
Before operating your appliance, remove the packaging
material and dispose of it in accordance with regulations.
Warning
Packaging materials may be dangerous to children.
Reusable substances may be dropped off at your
local disposal facilities. You may obtain further
information from your local authorities and disposal
facilities.
Disposing of Your Old Appliance
Dispose of your old appliance in accordance with your
local disposal guidelines. To avoid danger, please render
the appliance unusable before disposal.
Pull out the mains plug and cut the power cable.
Render the door lock unusable.
Before Installation
Check the appliance for transit damage. Never install or
use damaged machines. If in doubt, contact your supplier.
Before First Use
See Notes for Installation on page 34.
Have the grounding system installed by a qualified
electrician.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable for any damage
caused by operating the appliance without proper
grounding.
Before operating the system, please check that the
information on the type plate corresponds to the
information on your power supply.
The dishwasher must be disconnected from the mains
during installation.
The appliance must not be connected to the mains
using an extension cable. Extension cables do not
provide the necessary safety (e.g. danger of
overheating).
Always use the original plug delivered with the
appliance.
The plug must be freely accessible after the appliance
has been installed.
Child Safety
Do not allow children to play with the appliance.
Dishwasher detergents are caustic and may cause
injury to the eyes, mouth and throat. Please note the
safety instructions provided by the manufacturers of
the detergents.
Never leave children unsupervised while the appliance
is open, as the appliance may still contain detergent
leftovers.
The water in the dishwasher is not drinking water.
Danger of caustic injuries.
Always place long and sharp/pointed objects (e.g.
serving forks, bread knives) into the cutlery basket
with the pointed end down or flat on the upper basket
to avoid possible injuries.
For daily operation
Use your appliance only for the following domestic
uses: Washing household dishes.
Do not use chemical solvents in the appliance; there
is a danger of explosion.
Do not sit or stand on the opened door or place other
objects on it. The appliance may tip over.
Do not open the door while the appliance is running,
as hot water or steam may escape.
Do not leave the door open an open door can be a
hazard.
Problems
Repairs and modifications to the appliance may only
be carried out by qualified customer service personnel.
In the event of a problem, or before performing a
repair, disconnect the appliance from the mains supply:
- disconnect the appliance by pulling out the mains
plug
- shut off the power.
Do not pull on the cable pull on the plug.
Turn off the water supply tap.

instructions in this booklet.

Using Your Dishwasher
If the water hardness at your location is over 60°dH, you should
consider using a water-softening device for your dishwasher.
When using well or rain water, the installation of pre-filter is
recommended.
After moving house, remember to reset the water hardness for your
new location.
°dH: German degree 1 °dH = 1 mg CaO/100 ml Water = 0.179 mmol
Use the on/off button to turn the dishwasher on. Turn the programme selection knob until the
multifunction display shows the Settings programme. Press the programme button to access the
Settings menu. Now use the programme selector knob to select the Water hardness programme
and use the programme button to access the menu. The multifunction display now shows "Water
hardness: 3"; this is the factory setting. To select another water hardness setting, turn the programme
selection knob until the desired setting appears. Press the programme button to save your desired
water hardness setting. Your desired degree of water hardness has now been set. Press the Time
Delay button once to return to the "Settings" programme. If you do not want to make any more
settings, use the Time Delay button to return to the main programme selection menu.

Softening the water
Dishwashers require fairly soft water. If the hardness exceeds 6°dH lime scale will form on crockery.
To avoid this an automatic system adds a special salt to soften the water so that you obtain the
best possible cleaning and drying performance.
To find out the hardness level of your water contact your local water company, or use the enclosed
test strip to measure the water hardness:
Turn on the tap and
let the water run for
about a minute.
Hold the test strip in
the water for about a
second.
Remove the test strip
from the water and
shake it.
Wait for 1 minute. The test strip shows
you the hardness
level.

Filling the dishwasher salt
Important
Only use special dishwasher salt in your appliance.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from
the use of the wrong type of salt.
Do not use coarse-grained salt. Small grains or powdered
salt is more easily soluble. Never use culinary or table
salt. These types of salt do not dissolve in water easily
and will damage the softening device.
Remove the lower basket from the appliance.
Open the screw-in cap of the salt container by turning it
counter clockwise (fig. ).
When operating for the first time:
Pour 1 litre of water into the salt container (Fig. ).
Pour the salt into the container with the aid of the salt
funnel provided (Fig. ).
Pour in enough salt to
fill the container. The container holds approx. 2 kg.
Close the cap tightly.
Begin a washing program immediately after filling the salt
container. The washing program prevents damage to the
appliance which may be caused by any spilled salt solution.
After the first washing cycle, the salt level indicator light
will go out.

Filling the Rinse Aid Dispenser
Rinse aids allow washing water to rinse off more cleanly
and prevent watermarks or streaks on the dishes.
Only use rinse aid designed for use in dishwashers.
- Note -
If you use 2 in 1 or 3 in 1 detergents / tablets, you do
not need an additional rinse aid.
Open the rinse aid dispenser by pressing the locking
lever ( )
Carefully pour in rinse aid to the MAX mark.
Close the lid until it clicks ( ).
Carefully wipe off spilled rinse aid. Excessive rinse aid
causes excessive foam formation, which may hinder
cleaning.
Set the dose of rinse aid
The dose of rinse aid to be used can be set by means of
the dispenser regulator (between levels 1 and 6) ( ).
Your appliance is pre-set at the factory to level 3.
Only change the setting if the following applies after
washing:
Watermarks are visible on the dishes: Set dosage
higher
Streaks are visible on the dishes: Set dosage lower
Filling the Detergent Dispenser
- Note -
Only use detergents formulated for use in dishwashers.
Open the detergent container by pushing the locking
lever to the right ( ).
The lines on the inside of the detergent container will
help you measure the correct amount of detergent.
The detergent container holds a total of 40 cm³ of detergent
( ).
When the dishwasher is fully loaded and the dishes are
very dirty, we recommend filling the detergent container
up to the 25 cm³ mark. When the dishes are less dirty,
it is generally sufficient to fill the detergent up to the 15
cm³ mark.
If your dishes have been in the dishwasher for some time
without being washed, you should also fill the small
detergent container up to the line ( ).
The programme table shows the amounts of detergent
required for the different wash programmes.
These may differ according to how dirty the dishes are
and the water hardness in your location.

Detergents
There are 3 types of detergents:
1. Phosphate and containing chlorine
2. Phosphate containing, no chlorine
3. Neither containing phosphate nor chlorine
The new compact powders are normally phosphate free. As phosphates have water softening
properties, we suggest you add salt to the salt container even if the hardness of your water
is only 6°dH. In hard water areas, if a phosphate free detergent is used, white marks on the
dishes and glasses may be observed. It may be prevented by increasing the amount of
detergent. Detergents without chlorine have less bleaching effect. Coloured stains may not
be fully removed. Choose a programme with a higher wash temperature.
Attention
Always store your detergents in locations which are cool, dry and out of the reach of children.
Pour the detergent into the detergent dispenser before turning the machine on.
Too much detergent may mean that the detergent does not dissolve properly and dishes are
scratched.
TWO-IN-ONE AND THREE-IN-ONE DETERGENTS
You will obtain the best results from your dishwasher if you use a separate detergent, rinse
aid and water-softening salt.
Detergent manufacturers also produce combined detergents known as two-in-one and three-
in-one.
Three-in-one: These products contain detergent, rinse aid and water-softening salt.
Two-in-one: These products contain detergent and either rinse aid or water-softening salt.
In general, you will obtain satisfactory results from combined detergents only under specific
usage conditions. These detergents contain predetermined amounts of rinse aid and/or softening
salt. This means that you cannot adjust the amount of water-softening salt and rinse aid that
you use to suit the water hardness level in your home.
You should bear the following points in mind when using such detergents:
- Be sure to check the specifications of the product you are using and whether it is a combined
product or not.
- Follow the instructions on the packet when using these products.
- The use of these products at the correct appliance settings will ensure economical
use of salt and/or rinse aid.
- If the detergent is in tablet form, never place these in the internal section or cutlery basket
of the dishwasher. Always place the tablets in the detergent dispenser of the detergent holder.
Using three-in-one detergent: detergent, softening salt and rinse aid
- These detergents will not give you the same drying performance that you can obtain by using
separate detergent, salt and rinse aid. To increase the drying performance:
Put your appliances rinse aid setting at 1 and apply rinse aid. When the rinse aid is used
up, add more rinse aid to the rinse aid dispenser.
- If you use combined detergents with a rinse aid setting higher than 1, contact with the hands
may leave rainbow-coloured water stains on the washed items and inside the machine.
- If you use combined detergents without adding salt, lime scale may form especially on
glasses. To avoid lime scale formation:
Put your appliances water softener setting at 1 and add salt. When the salt is used up,
add more salt to the water softener.
Using two-in-one detergent: detergent and softening salt
- These detergents do not contain rinse aid so you need to use the rinse aid setting as
described in the manual, making sure that there is rinse aid in the rinse aid dispenser with
every wash and that you refill the rinse aid dispenser with rinse aid every time it is empty.
Using two-in-one detergent: detergent and rinse aid
- These detergents will not give you the same drying performance that you can obtain by
using separate detergent, salt and rinse aid. To increase the drying performance:

Rust sensitive steel parts:
Cutlery with wooden or horn handles
Cutlery with mother of pearl or porcelain handles
Non heat resistant plastic parts
No glued dish or cutlery parts
No items made out of copper, tin or aluminium
Sensitive decorative glasses and porcelain parts
Lead crystal glasses
Art and crafted articles
Aluminium and silver tend to discolour
Glass and crystal articles may lose their shine over time
Sponges and dishcloths
Note
Do not wash items soiled with cigarette ash, candle wax, varnish, paints or chemicals.
Recommendation:
When buying new dishes, note whether they are suitable for the dishwasher.
(marked as dishwasher proof)
General:
Before you load the dishwasher with dishes
Remove coarse food leftovers
Place all containers such as cups, glasses and pots into the machine with the opening
facing downwards (so that no water can collect)
Dishes and cutlery may not be placed above each other
Glasses may not touch
The movement of the spray arms must not be hindered
Place all large and very dirty items in the lower basket.
Small and light items can go into the upper basket.
Long and narrow items are placed in the middle of the baskets.
Attention
Knives and other utensils with sharp tips and edges must be placed horizontally into the
upper basket due to risk of injury.
Your dishwasher holds a maximum of 12 place settings.
Please do not overload your dishwasher and pay attention to the notes regarding dishes
which are suited to the dishwasher.
Only in this manner will you obtain optimal washing results with a sensible use of energy.

Put your appliances rinse aid setting at 1 and apply rinse aid. When the rinse aid is used
up, add more rinse aid to the rinse aid dispenser.
- If you use combined detergents with a rinse aid setting higher than 1, contact with the hands
may leave rainbow-coloured water stains on the washed items and inside the machine.
- These detergents do not contain softening salt so you need to use the softening setting as
described in the manual, making sure that there is water-softening salt in the water softener
with every wash and that you refill the water softener with salt every time it is empty.
Important warning
- Should you encounter a problem that has previously never occured after you start using
these detergents, contact the detergent manufacturer directly. You will find contact details on
the packet.
If you stop using this kind of detergent:
- Ensure that the salt and rinse aid dispensers are full.
- Put the water hardness setting at
the highest level and run a wash cycle with the appliance
empty.
- After washing while empty,
return the water hardness setting to the correct level for your
mains water hardness shown in the manual.
- Put the rinse aid setting at the correct level.

apart in opposite directions ( ).

Load the upper basket with dessert plates, cups, glasses
etc.

Basket insert with variable height settings (depending on
some models)
You can also use this insert in the lower basket for glasses
and long-handled cutlery / utensils.
If you do not need the insert, fold the rack upwards at the
angle shown ( ).
Push the entire insert upwards ( ). Place the insert in
the upright position ( ). Push the insert downwards and
lock it into place with the holder ( ).
When you want to use the basket again, reverse the
procedure.
To set the height, push the rack upwards and fold it open
in position G.
When finished, check that the sprayer arm can still move
freely.
Lower basket
Suggestions for loading the dishwasher
Use the lower basket for plates, bowls, pots etc.
4 folding plate support rods
(depending on the model)
There are four separate "folding plate support rods"
in the lower basket of your dishwasher designed to
allow you more space to accommodate saucepans
and large bowls in the lower basket. You can either
fold each section (1,2,3,4) individually or, all at once,
to create a large empty space.
Simply press the handgrips ( ) and fold them down"
Variable cutlery basket (depending on the model)
The variable cutlery basket can be separated into 3 parts depending on the amount of
cutlery and the degree of dirtiness.
Small cutlery basket sections also fit into the upper basket.
To do this, turn the lock on the handle to the right ( ).
Pull the smaller cutlery basket upwards and out of its holders ( )
To put the parts together again, proceed in the opposite direction.
Use the basket inset ( ) for your cutlery so that all items in the basket are surrounded
by a sufficient water flow.
For larger items (e.g. wire whisks), the basket inset may be removed ( ).
To make loading easier, the cutlery basket can be removed.
Place long items such as ladles, cooking spoons etc. on the rack in the upper basket.

Upper basket with variable height setting (some
models)
The upper basket is equipped with a lifting mechanism
which enables you to change the height of the basket
without having to remove it from the dishwasher, even if
it is fully loaded.
The height of the upper basket was set to its lowest
position at the factory. To lift the upper basket to the high
( ) position, hold it on one side and carefully pull it
upwards. To lift the opposite side of the basket, hold it
and pull it upwards in the same manner ( ).
To lower the upper basket, hold the basket lever on one
side and carefully lower the basket without releasing the
lever. ( ). Repeat the procedure with the lever on the
opposite side of the basket. Make sure that both levers
catch at the same height.

Height setting with empty basket
In this model, the height setting of the upper basket may
be changed using the wheels which are mounted at two
different heights.
Release the latches on both the right and left tracks of
the upper basket by pushing them outwards ( ).
Pull out the basket out completely ( ).
Place the basket back into the tracks at the desired height
( ).
Push the latches back into the correct position.

Rack (depends on the model)
Depending on the size of the glasses and cups, the rack
height setting may be adjusted ( ).
Cleaning your machine at regular intervals ensures longer
product life and reduces the risk of reccurring problems.
Warning
Always unplug the machine and turn off the water
supply before cleaning.
Use a gentle household cleaner for the outside and
the door seals.
Clean the control panel only with a moist cloth and
clear water.
Cleaning the filters
Clean the filters and the spray arms regularly. A dirty
machine will have a negative effect on the cleaning results.

1.
Remove the lower basket from the machine.
2.
Turn the coarse filter to the right and pull it out in an
upward direction ( ).
3.
Pull out the main filter ( ).
4.
Press on the two tongues of the coarse filter and
remove the micro filter ( ).
5.
Clean the filters thoroughly under running water. Use
a brush if necessary.
6.
Replace main filter
7.
Replace the micro filter and the coarse filter into the
main filter. Twist it clockwise until it clicks in.
Warning
Do not operate your dishwasher without a filter.
Ensure that your filters are correctly installed

Cleaning the spray arms
Dirt or calcium residue may block the nozzles on the
spray arms. For this reason, regularly check the spray
nozzles.
Lower spray arm
Upper spray arm
1. Remove the lower basket from the machine.
2. Pull off the lower spray arm in an upward direction
( ).
3. Loosen the fastening screw of the upper spray arm
and pull off the spray arm ( ).
4. Clean the spray arms under running water.
5. Replace the spray arms.
Warning
Ensure that the fastening screws are screwed tight.
Cleaning the filter inset in the water inlet hose
(depending on the model)
Dirt from deposits in the water pipes is prevented by a
filter in the water inlet hose. Check the filter and the water
inlet from time to time.
1.
Close the water tap and unscrew the water inlet hose.
2.
Take out the filter and clean it under running water.
3.
Replace the cleaned filter.
4.
Fasten the water inlet hose to the water tap again.

Function buttons
On/Off Button
Use this button to turn your dishwasher on and off... When switching on the dishwasher, the
last programme selected is shown in the multifunction display.
Start/Stop Button
You use this button to start the selected programme. The light on the button will come on.
Use the Start / Stop button to Stop the programme if you would like to open the door while
the dishwasher is running.
Programme Selector Knob
Use the programme selector knob to select the desired programme; its name will then be
shown in the multifunction display. The programme selector knob can also be used to set
the desired time delay and setting.
Programme Button
Use this button to access the Settings programme and the various menu items belonging
to it.
Time Delay
This button allows you to delay the start time of a programme by up to 24 hours.
High-Speed Button
This option allows you to shorten the selected programme; the dishwasher then uses higher
water pressure and consumes less energy and water.
Night Button
You can use this option to lower the noise level of the selected programme; the appliance
then uses less water pressure. This setting can also be used for more delicate items.
Crystal Dry Button
This option allows you to add additional drying for crystal-clear results.
Autosense Button
You can use this button to select the autosense programme. This programme adjusts the
cleaning temperature, time, and water and energy consumption to suit the level of soiling.

Turn on the water tap and plug in the appliance.

Open the door and load the dishwasher. Check that
both the upper and lower sprayer arms can move
freely.

Add the appropriate amount of detergent to the
dispenser and close the door.
n
Use the On/Off button to switch the appliance on.
n
Check the control indicators for salt ( ) and rinse aid
( ). Refill salt and rinse aid if required.
n
Use the programme selector knob ( ) to select your
washing programme as shown in the programme table
(see page 25). The programme selector knob can be
turned both clockwise and counter clockwise.
-
The time remaining on the selected programme is
shown in the multifunction display .
-
If required, you can use the option buttons ( &
) to adjust the washing programme to suit your
needs.

Use the Start/Stop button to start the programme.
Important
Avoid opening the door during the washing process.
This interrupts the washing process, and hot steam
will escape. Close the door to continue the
programme.
n
When the washing programme has finished, the
multifunction display shows End and the
corresponding symbol lights up; the remaining
time indicator now shows 00:00.
n
Shut off the appliance by pressing the On/Off button
.
n
Close the water tap and unplug the device from
the mains.
n
Allow your dishes to cool for 15 minutes with the door
open. Unload the dishes, starting with the lower basket.

Option Buttons
The various wash programs are intended for varying amounts
of soiling and crockery, as well as for different types of
crockery. You can use the option buttons to adapt the
programs to suit different requirements. Doing this can save
you time, money, and electricity. For instance:
-
Use the High-Speed button to shorten the selected
programme if your dishes are only slightly soiled. Selecting
this option means, for example, that the dishwasher then
uses higher water pressure and consumes approx. 25 %
less water and electricity.
- Use the Night button if you would like to wash your
dishes at night, whether you want to take advantage of
night-time power rates or you simply want to clean dishes
first thing in the morning. This lowers the water pressure
used, producing less noise and consuming less electricity.
You can also use this function if you would like to wash
more fragile items.
The following table shows which options are available for
each programme. If a particular option is not available for
the programme selected, this is indicated in the multifunction
display.
To add an option to the programme:
1. Use the programme selector knob to select a
programme, or use button to select the autosense
programme.
2. Use the option buttons , and to select the desired
option. The LED indicator for the appropriate button and the
corresponding symbol in the display light up.
3. Use the Start/Stop button to start the programme.
The High-Speed and Night options cannot be selected at
the same time because they cancel each other out. Only
the last selected option is activated. This can be seen on
the buttons LED indicator and by the symbol shown in the
display.
Pressing the option button again cancels the selection and
the respective symbols light goes out.
Programme selection
After you have switched the appliance on, use the programme
selector knob to select the desired programme according
to the level of soiling, or simply select the autosense program
function . Use the Start/Stop button to start the programme
shown in the multifunction display.
The time remaining on the selected programme is shown in
the multifunction display . The programme duration may
vary according to the room temperature, tap water
temperature, and the amount of dishes. The remaining run
time may therefore adjust itself as the programme runs.
Time Delay
The Time Delay button allows you to delay the start time of
a programme by up to 24 hours. This is only possible if the
programme has not yet started.
Use the programme selector knob to select the desired
programme or choose the autosense programme .
Press the Time Delay button .The symbol for the activated
time delay , the hourglass, briefly lights up in the
multifunction display.
You can now use the programme selector knob to select
the desired time delay
which is shown in display . The
programme selector knob can be turned both clockwise and
counter clockwise.
Use the Start/Stop button to activate the time delay. The
time remaining and the hourglass are shown in the
multifunction display until the programme begins. Once the
time set has been reached, the selected programme starts
automatically; the display will then show the time remaining
on the programme.

You can still change the time delay once the time
delay function has been activated:
To do this, first press the Start/Stop button . If you do
not do this, the multifunction display will show "Time delay
active" and changes cannot be made. Pressing the
Start/Stop button deactivates the time delay function.
Now press the Time Delay button , then turn the
programme selector knob either counter clockwise or
clockwise to shorten or to extend the time delay. Press
the Start/Stop button to reactivate the time delay.

Repeat the procedure to turn off the child lock. This
locking mechanism is automatically deactivated when
the programme finishes. The symbol light will then go
out.
The lock does not lock the door, but simply prevents
the programme from being changed.
Cancelling a Programme
To interrupt a programme or a time delay, press the
Start/Stop button for approx. 5 seconds. The button
indicator begins to blink, and the multifunction display
shows "End programme". Once the cancellation process
has been completed, the display shows "End". If you now
wish to select a new programme or function, it will start
at the beginning and not at the stage in the programme
at which the previous programme was stopped.
Depending on when you stopped the wash programme,
there may still be detergent or rinse aid on the dishes.
Child Lock
The programme can be locked while the appliance is
running.
Activate the child lock by pressing the programme button
and the time delay button simultaneously for approx.
3 seconds. The corresponding symbol will be shown
in the multifunction display.
Salt and rinse aid indicators
When the indicators for salt and rinse aid light up,
the respective reservoirs must be refilled.
Warnings
The dishwasher can display various warnings during the
wash cycle.
Programme Progress Display
The multifunction display will show you the stage the
current programme has reached. The status indicators
use the symbols - to indicate which programme
stages have already been started and completed. Only
those programme sections which have been completed
are shown.
The selected programme is only completed when the
symbol lights up, the time remaining is shown as
"00:00", and the multifunction display shows "End".
Additionally, the dishwasher plays a 2-minute melody
when the programme is completed (unless you have shut
off this option; Volume = 0). This signal stops when the
door is opened or any button (except the Start/Stop button)
is pressed.
In the case of the Mini 30' programme, the dishes are
dried by their own residual heat and the drying status
indicator does not light up. The programme is finished
only when the indicators described above appear in the
multifunction display.
Changing the Programme
If you wish to change a programme or an option while
the time delay is active or once the programme has
started, press the Start/Stop button . This deactivates
the time delay. You can now use the programme selector
knob to select another programme or option. Use the
Start/Stop button to start the new programme. However,
the new programme will continue from the point at which
the previous programme was stopped. Options can be
changed only during active time delay, not while a
programme is running.

2. Check whether the water tap is turned on.
3. If the water supply has not been cut off and the water
tap was not accidentally turned off, please call customer
service.
If this indicator is shown on the multifunction display,
please call customer service (the required information is
shown in the warranty documentation).
Remove the filter and clean it under running water. After
replacing the filter, start the programme again.

Settings
You can use the Settings programme to select the
language, the water hardness, the signal noise level, the
brightness, the contrast, and the signal melody, or to
reset the dishwasher back to the factory (default) settings.
Calling up the Settings programme:
1. Use the On/Off button to turn the device on.
2. Turn the programme selector knob until Settings is
shown in the multifunction display.
3. To access the programme, press the programme button
.
4. To exit the programme, press the time delay button .
When you have reached the Settings menu item:
1. Press the programme selector knob until the desired
menu item (language, water hardness, volume,
brightness, contrast, or melody) is shown.
2. Use the programme button to access the appropriate
sub-menu.
3. In the sub-menu, turn the programme selector knob
until the desired setting/selection appears.
4. Press the programme button to confirm this setting.
5. Use the Time Delay button to exit the programme.
Menu structure
1 very soft, 2 soft, 3 medium and 4 - hard. For
perfect cleaning and drying results, the dishwasher must
be set to the proper water hardness for your location. To
do this, please also read Softening Water (page 6).
Use the Volume programme to select one of five different
sound levels for the signal at the end of the washing
programme: 0 - off, 1 very quiet, 2 - quiet, 3 medium
and 4 - loud.
Use the Brightness programme to set the brightness of
the multifunction display within a range of 1 - 9.
Use the Contrast programme to set the contrast of the
multifunction display within a range of 0-15.
Use the Melody programme to choose one of three
different melodies to signal the end of the washing
programme.
Use the Factory Settings programme to set the
dishwasher back to its factory settings:
1. Using the programme selector knob , select "Factory
Settings" in the Settings sub-menu.
2. To access the programme, press the programme button
.
3. Press the programme button to confirm that you
want to set all settings back to the factory settings.
4. Press Time Delay to exit the programme.
The factory settings are:
language = English, water hardness = 3, volume = 3,
brightness = 7, contrast = 5 and melody = 3.

Safety notes for installation
Prior to installing and using your appliance, please check
it for possible transit damage.
If the appliance is damaged, please contact your supplier.
Never install or use a damaged appliance.
The following directions must be followed to connect the
dishwasher properly.
Before operating your dishwasher, please ensure that
the information on the type plate corresponds to the
current and voltage of your power supply.
The appliance may only be connected using a properly
grounded socket. Ensure that the appliance is grounded
according to regulations.
The grounded socket must be easily accessible and
close to the appliance.
Do not use extension cables or multiple adapters, as
this can lead to overheating, which can be a fire hazard.
Hardwiring may only be carried out by a qualified
electrician.
Check the power cable, the water inlet hose and the
drainage hose. Damaged parts may only be replaced
by customer service personnel or by a qualified
electrical service expert.

Water drainage
Connecting the drainage hose.
Take care to ensure that the drainage hose is not bent
or squeezed.
Check that the drainage hose is firmly seated.
Extension hoses
If a hose extension is required, a drainage hose of equal
quality must be used.
The maximum length must not exceed 4m. Using a longer
hose will produce poorer cleaning results
Siphon connection
The drainage height must be between 50 and 100 cm
above the floor.
Use hose clamps to fasten the drainage hose to the
siphon.
Electrical connection
Please refer to the type plate for information on current
type, mains voltage, and fuse protection.
The type plate is located on the inside of the door.
The mains plug must be freely accessible after installation.
Power cables and insulated cables must not be accessible
(exposed) after installation.
Installing Your Dishwasher
Choose a suitable location for your dishwasher. Take
care to ensure that the appliance is stable on a level
surface.
Unevenness in the floor can be equalised by adjusting
the screw feet. When the appliance is standing correctly,
the door can be closed without difficulty.
Water inlet and drainage hoses must be positioned so
that they can move freely without bending or squeezing.
The appliance may not be installed in a room where
the temperature is below 0° Celsius.
Water connection
The dishwasher may be connected to cold and warm
water to a maximum temperature of 60° Celsius.
The dishwasher may not be connected to open warm
water devices or flow-through water heaters.
Connect water inlet hose
Ensure that the water inlet hose is not bent or squeezed.
Do not install a used hose set.
Use a screw-on hose connector to connect the water
inlet hose to a water tap with a ¾ inch external thread.
If required, use a filter insert to filter deposits from the
pipes.
Check that the connection does not leak.
Important
For safety reasons, turn off the tap after every rinse
process.
Lowest permitted
water pressure:
0.3 bars = 3 N/cm² = 30 kPa
When the water pressure is

electrical cables and components.
