1.1 Overview SYNAX 200 MotionLogic
Programming environment IndraLogic
IndraLogic is the programming environment for the programmable logic
control (PLC) of Bosch Rexroth AG. IndraLogic allows the PLC software
engineer a simple access to the programming languages according to
IEC 61131-3.

Supported programming languages
The programming environment IndraLogic supports the following
programming languages described in IEC 61131-3 standard:
•Instruction List (IL)
•Structured Text (ST)
•Sequential Function Chart (SFC)
•Function Block Diagram (FBD)
•Ladder Diagram (LD)
Further on IndraLogic supports the following graphical programming
languages:
•Continuous function chart (CFC)
Textual languages

Communication with the programming interface
The programming environment IndraLogic communicates with the run-
time system via SCP (Scalable-Communication-Platform). The following
interfaces are available (section 2 Kommunikation):
•serial interface (RS232 and RS485)
•Ethernet TCP/IP
•PCI-DPRAM (only with PPC-P11)
Target and libraries
Various libraries with different functionalities are available in the
programming environment IndraLogic depending on the target (function
blocks, functions, data types, ...) (section 4.2 - IndraLogic targets; section
8.1 - Overview).
In general a target is included in the installation of the programming
environment IndraLogic. But it is also possible to install additional targets.
The SYNAX 200 system makes two targets available in version 13VRS:
the RECO-based option PPC-R and the PCI-based option PPC-P.
The enabled libraries for the PLC control (target) are stored in the
corresponding target directory by presetting. The library of the RECO-
based option PPC-R and the PCI-based option PPC-P of the SYNAX 200
system are completely compatible to each other. Programs, functions,
etc., can be exchanged.

I/O configuration
Inputs and outputs of the PLC are graphical configured in the
programming environment IndraLogic via the PLC configuration (section 4
- PLC configuration).
Cyclic data exchange between MotionControl and
LogicControl
The cyclic data exchange between MotionControl and LogicControl (PLC)
takes place via two communication channels:
•Cyclic Motion Data: The register "Cyclic Motion Data" contains all
internal inputs and outputs of the MotionControl, i.e. of the master
axes, of the following axes and of the system itself. These binary
inputs and outputs are mapped to global structures in parts (e.g.,
MS_FA_LC2MC). The binary data exchange only takes place in
operating mode (SERCOS communication phase P4).
The register "Cyclic Motion Data“ contains a configurable parameter
channel in addition to exchange 2 and 4 byte parameters. There's a
range "Parameters" in the respective register, e.g., of a following axis,
where parameters can be cyclical configured. The parameter data
exchange at A, S and P parameters only takes place in operating
mode (SERCOS communication phase P4). Y and C parameters can
be exchanged in every communication phase.
•Cyclic Fieldbus Data: The register "Cyclic Fieldbus Data" contains a
configurable channel to tunnel fieldbus data. The fieldbus slave
interfaces of the MotionLogic are allocated to the MotionControl and
transmit parameter data and PLC variables via parameter data
containers accordingly. The contents of the parameter containers can
be made available to the LogicControl (PLC) in the "Cyclic Fieldbus
Data".

PPC onboard I/Os
At the system SYNAX 200 - MotionLogic three potential-free inputs as
well as two potential-free outputs are directly available on the control with
hardware option PPC-R22 at master switch X1.
Remote Connections
At the system SYNAX 200 - MotionLogic with hardware option PPC-R22,
it is possible to exchange parameters via the function blocks of library
MS_MotionComm.lib with up to 64 remote stations via Ethernet (SIS
protocol).
RECO local bus I/Os
The local RECO inputs and outputs that are available for the MotionLogic
are fixed allocated to the integrated LogicControl (PLC). It is not possible
to use them on the MotionControl (e.g., for the cam switch group 2).
Fieldbus master interface, fieldbus slave interface
The fieldbus master interfaces of the MotionLogic are handled by the
integrated LogicControl (PLC). The fieldbus slave interfaces are only
allocated to the MotionControl.

Multitasking
The IndraLogic runtime system on the SYNAX 200 - MotionLogic
supports preemptive multitasking with up to 16 IEC tasks. The following
task types are supported:
•cyclic (time triggered)
•freewheeling
•event triggered
•external event triggered
On the SYNAX 200 - MotionLogic (version 13VRS) an external event
triggered task is supported. This task is called synchronized to the
SERCOS cycle by the parallel running MotionControl in operating mode
(SERCOS communication phase 4) with the external event
"OP_MODE_SERCOS_CYCLIC" (section 6.1 - Task management).
Diagnosis
All diagnoses of the integrated LogicControl (PLC) are displayed on the
H1 display with "F 97". The error numbers 2000..3000 in parameter
"SYNAX - error number" (Y-0-0048) are allocated to the integrated PLC.
Further on all SYNAX diagnoses are also signaled in IndraLogic in online
mode (section 5.2 - Configuration and motion control parameter).
Storage of the PLC program
The PLC program is stored in the flash of the PFM module in the file
system IFS. The storage of the executable code takes place in the
programming environment IndraLogic with command "Online -> create
boot project" and thus is stored in the file "DEFAULT.PRG" on the motion
control.
Additionally it is possible to store the source code in the PLC. See also
chapter '7 "Data archiving and recovery".

2 Communication
2.1 IndraLogic via SCP/SIS
Overview
Communication of the programming environment IndraLogic with the
runtime system takes places in the standard settings via the common
communication platform SCP (Scalable-Communication-Platform). SCP
supports the operation of several communication participants via an
interface at the same time as a base for the communication. It is also
used by the parameterization and commissioning tool SynTop.

2-2 Communication Rexroth SYNAX 200 - MotionLogic
DOK-SYNAX*-IL*-13VRS**-AW02-EN-P
Communication setting MotionLogic
Communication of the MotionLogic with the programming environment
IndraLogic via SCP can take place via one of the three different
communication paths that are available:
•serial interface
•Ethernet
•PCI-DPRAM (only with PPC-P11)
Serial communication
The serial communication between the programming environment
IndraLogic and the MotionControl via RS232 or via RS485 is set with four
parameters on the MotionLogic:
•address of the communication partner
•mode of the serial interface
•baudrate of the interface
•type, i.e., protocol of the communication
The address of the MotionLogic is set with parameter "Device address"
(Y-0-0142). At the RECO-based option PPC-R the setting is also possible
with the S1 button and is set with menu item "M03: Device address = ..."
(also see "Handling with the S1button (only PPC-R)" in the SYNAX 200
Functional Description). The change of the device address in the S1
menu directly affects parameter Y-0-0142.
The settings for the serial interface X10 of the MotionLogic are done with
parameters:
•Y-0-0003 "Serial Port A Baudrate" (9600...115200 baud)
•Y-0-0004 "Serial Port A Mode" (RS232 or RS485)
•Y-0-0005 "Serial Port A device type" (set 3 (=SIS) here)
At the RECO-based option PPC-R the setting is also possible with the S1
button. In the following, the relevant menu items are listed, a change in
the S1 menu affects the corresponding parameters:
•"M04: X10 mode = 232", change affects Y-0-0004
•"M05: X10 baud = 19K2", change affects Y-0-0003
•"M06: X10 type = SIS", change affects Y-0-0005
The settings for the serial interface X16 of the MotionLogic are done with
parameters:
•Y-0-0008 "Serial Port B Baudrate" (9600...115200 baud)
•Y-0-0009 "Serial Port B Mode" (RS232 or RS485)
•Y-0-0010 "Serial Port B device type" (set 3 (=SIS) here)
