Guide Lights and Illuminated Switches contain
an internal light that provides illumination when
the room/space is dark. They each serve a unique
function:

Guide Lights contain a sensor that monitors the
ambient light in a room and will illuminate
automatically when a room reaches a certain
level of darkness.
•
Illuminated Switches glow when they are in the
OFF position to make it easy to locate
them in a dark room.

use less than one watt of energy, making
them an energy and cost ecient solution.
A Practical Solution
Simply walking to the bathroom or searching for a light switch in the middle of the night can prove to
be dangerous if obstacles such as furniture or toys cause you to trip and fall. Installing Guide Lights
and Illuminated Switches in select areas of the home can provide enough illumination at night to light
the way or to locate a switch. These devices can serve as a preventative measure to help keep your
entire family—from youngest to oldest—safer at night.

Tamper-Resistant Outlet
with Guide Light
Perfect for homes with young children. The shutter
mechanism inside the outlet blocks access to the
contacts unless a two-prong plug is inserted, helping
ensure that most foreign objects will be locked out.
