CAUTION
Follow all instructions marked on the device during using.
Provide proper ventilation and air circulation and do not use near water.
It is better to keep it in a dry environment.
Place the device on a stable surface (example cart, stand, table, etc.).
The system should be installed indoor only. Install either on a sturdy rack or desk in a
well-ventilated place.
Make sure the rack is level and stable before extending a device from the rack if
necessary.
Make sure all equipments installed on the rack including power strips and other
electrical connectors are properly grounded.
Only use the adapter (DC 12V) supported with the device.
Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners to clean the device.
Always unplug the power to the device before cleaning.
Unplug the power during lightning or after a prolonged period of non-use to avoid
damage to the equipment.
Do not stand on any device while installing the device to the rack.
Do not attempt to maintain the device by yourself, any faults, please contact your
vendor.

CHAPTER 1 OVERVIEW
1.1 Introduction
The IC-714AUHR HDMI switch is a high performance HDMI switching equipment
combining with high-definition display as well as integrated multi-channel audio.
Allowing users to switch between 4 computers via a single USB keyboard, USB mouse,
and HDMI monitor console. This independent switching feature allows users do not
need to purchase a separate USB hub for sharing stand-alone peripheral.
HDMI supports digital input & output including flat panel displays, data projectors,
digital TVs and set-top boxes. Users can easily switch the digital signal to be viewed
through the front panel button or the connected mouse or keyboard. For the Audio,
IC-714AUHR integrates multi-channel audio and switch features allowing users to
experience high-definition audio as same as Dolby True HD.
Easy setup and simple using let users configure IC-714AUHR without installing
software and routines. Provide the ultimate in space-saving and streamlined KVM
technology solutions.

CHAPTER 4 COMPONENTS
4.1 Front Panel
IC-714AUHR supports up to 4 connected PC and specified with LED located on the
front panel. These LEDs specify the connection and configuration status. The four
buttons numbered as 1~4 channels on the front panel represent the connected PCs.
This allows user to quickly switch signals. User can also switch signals by using the
separate mouse and keyboard on the front panel.

Switch buttons: The switch buttons allow you to switch among 1~4 channels
connected to system PCs.
Press and Hold four buttons simultaneously to enter burning mode. And reboot to
resume normal mode.
HDMI/USB LED Indicators: There are 4 indicators with marked 1~4 on the front
panel. Indicates the HDMI/USB connection status of the connected 4 PCs.
- Green Bright: HDMI/USB source is online.
- Off: Offline.
- Red Flash: The specified HDMI/USB source is offline and selected.

- Red Bright: HDMI/USB interface is locked. The specified HDMI/USB
source is offline and selected.

Red and Green Flash Alternately: Currently selected HDMI/USB source
is online.
- Bright and Flash: Currently selected HDMI/USB source is online and
HDMI/USB interface is locked.
USB Console Ports: Connected to USB keyboard and mouse.
Audio OUT Port: Connected to speaker.
Microphone IN Port: Connected to microphone.
USB Type A Port: USB 3.1 Gen1 interface for external hot plugging devices
including printer, scanner or USB storage.

4.2 Rear Panel
IC-714AUHR supports up to 4 sets connected interfaces on the rear panel including
HDMI input connectors, USB type B ports, Audio and Microphone Jacks. All HDMI
interfaces support up to 4K/2K 50/60Hz.

CHAPTER 6 OPERATION
6.1 Powering Off and Restarting
If it is necessary to power off or restart the switch, you have to:
1. Shut down all connected equipments.
2. Unplug the switch’s power cable.
3. Wait a few seconds and plug the switch’s power cable back.
4. Power on the switch and connected equipments again.
6.2 Hot Plugging
The IC-714AUHR supports USB hot plugging; you can remove and add components
back into the installation by unplugging their cables from the USB hub ports without
shutting down the device.
6.3 Channel Switching
Each signal includes Console (keyboard & mouse), Video (HDMI), Audio, Microphone
and USB device can be switched separately. There are three methods to switch the
signals come from remote PCs:
Button: Press the buttons located on the device’s front panel to switch channel.
Mouse: Featuring the operation of mouse.
Keyboard: Featuring combinations from the keyboard to enter an operation.
Configuration Mode
The Scroll Lock LED flashes indicating the Configuration Mode is enabled
successfully.
In Configuration Mode, idling over 10 seconds will back to normal mode
automatically.
Press [Num Lock] key or any key that is undefined to exit Configuration Mode
and the Scroll Lock LED stops flashing.
Conventions
The Configuration Mode uses the following conventions:
[ ] : Indicate the key you have to press on the keyboard.
[ ] [ ] : Press the key and then press another key.
[ ] + [ ] : Press the keys simultaneously.
N : Indicated the value you have to input.

6.3.1 Button Switching
There are four buttons located front panel specified each channel. User can easily
switch channel by these buttons. Each button has a set corresponding LEDs light to
indicate the status of HDMI/USB connections (refer to 4.1 Front Panel).
It is not available to switch when performing USB Device reading and writing.
Burning Mode:
It is activated by pressing the four buttons located on the front panel simultaneously.
And reboot to resume normal mode.
The locked interface will not be affected during switching.
6.3.2 Mouse Control
The mouse control is for channel switch upon Normal Mode. Refer to 7.1 Mouse
Application.
It is not available to switch when performing USB Device reading and writing (When
the protection feature is enabled).
Mouse Function (default value N=1):
Press keyboard [Num Lock] [Num Lock] [M] [S] N:
N=0: Disable Mouse Control
N=1: Enable Mouse Control
Switch by Mouse:
Middle (roller) + Right Buttons:
- Switch to Right channel located on the panel.
- Switch based on the rightmost selected channel.
Middle (roller) + Left Buttons:
- Switch to Left channel located on the panel.
- Switch based on the leftmost selected channel.
It is available to use a roller mouse for Switch configuration.
The locked interface will not be affected during switching.

6.3.3 Keyboard Operating
Press [Num Lock] [Num Lock] to enter Configuration Mode, user can quickly
configure HDMI Switch through keyboard. In the keyboard operating mode, you can
switch channel and configure all features via Keyboard command. Refer to 7.2
Keyboard Application.
It is not available to switch when performing USB Device reading and writing.
Channel 1~4 described below represents PC1~4 separately.
Keyboard function:

- Enable (N=1)/Disable (N=0) [Ctrl] [Ctrl] function.
Fast Switch:
[Ctrl] [Ctrl]:
- Switch to Right channel located on the panel.
- Switch based on the rightmost selected channel.
Switch Directly:
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] N:
- Switch to channel 1~4 (N=1~4, 1~4=Channel 1~4).
The locked interface will not be affected during switching.
Switch Separately:
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [C] N:
- Switch Console to Channel 1~4 (N=1~4, 1~4=Channel 1~4).
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [V] N:
- Switch Video to Channel 1~4 (N=1~4, 1~4=Channel 1~4).
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [A] N:
- Switch Audio to Channel 1~4 (N=1~4, 1~4=Channel 1~4).
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [M] N:
- Switch Mic to Channel 1~4 (N=1~4, 1~4=Channel 1~4).

- Switch USB Device to Channel 1~4 (N=1~4, 1~4=Channel 1~4).

Buzzer (default value N=1):

Lock (default value N=0):

- Lock and switch Console to Channel 1~4 (N=0~4, 0=Unlock, 1~4=Channel 1~4).

- Lock and switch Video to Channel 1~4 (N=0~4, 0=Unlock, 1~4=Channel 1~4).

- Lock and switch Audio to Channel 1~4 (N=0~4, 0=Unlock, 1~4=Channel 1~4).
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [L] [M] N:
- Lock and switch Mic to Channel 1~4 (N=0~4, 0=Unlock, 1~4=Channel 1~4).
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [L] [U] N:
- Lock and switch USB Device to Channel 1~4 (N=0~4, 0=Unlock, 1~4=Channel
1~4).
Boot Up Preset (default value N=0):
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [D] [C] N:
- Default Console: Preset console port switched to channel 1~4 when booting up
(N=0~4, 0=No preset, 1~4=Channel 1~4).
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [D] [V] N:
- Default Video: Preset video port switched to channel 1~4 when booting up
(N=0~4, 0=No preset, 1~4=Channel 1~4).
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [D] [A] N:
- Default Audio: Preset audio port switched to channel 1~4 when booting up
(N=0~4, 0=No preset, 1~4=Channel 1~4).
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [D] [M] N:
- Default Mic: Preset Microphone port switched to channel 1~4 when booting up
(N=0~4, 0=No preset, 1~4=Channel 1~4).
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [D] [U] N:
- Default USB Device: Preset USB port switched to channel 1~4 when booting up
(N=0~4, 0=No preset, 1~4=Channel 1~4).

Show Locking Configuration:

- Show the configuration of locked Console. The Lower LEDs located on the front
panel show the setting, and the Upper LEDs show the current used channel for
Console.
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [S] [L] [V]:
- Show the configuration of locked Video. The Lower LEDs located on the front
panel show the setting, and the Upper LEDs show the current used channel for
Video.
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [S] [L] [A]:
- Show the configuration of locked Audio. The Lower LEDs located on the front
panel show the setting, and the Upper LEDs show the current used channel for
Audio.
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [S] [L] [M]:
- Show the configuration of locked Microphone. The Lower LEDs located on the
front panel show the setting, and the Upper LEDs show the current used channel
for Microphone.
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [S] [L] [U]:
- Show the configuration of locked USB Device. The Lower LEDs located on the
front panel show the setting, and the Upper LEDs show the current used channel
for USB Device, red light (and expected channel to switch, green light).
For more information about locking application, refer to Chapter 7 Example 4~7.

Show Default Configuration:
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [S] [D] [C]:
- Show the configuration of default Console. The Lower LEDs located on the front
panel show the setting, and the Upper LED shows the current used channel for
Console.
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [S] [D] [V]:
- Show the configuration of default Video. The Lower LEDs located on the front
panel show the setting, and the Upper LED shows the current used channel for
Video.
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [S] [D] [A]:
- Show the configuration of default Audio. The Lower LEDs located on the front
panel show the setting, and the Upper LED shows the current used channel for
Audio.
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [S] [D] [M]:
- Show the configuration of default Microphone. The Lower LEDs located on the
front panel show the setting, and the Upper LED shows the current used channel
for Microphone.
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [S] [D] [U]:
- Show the configuration of default USB Device. The Lower LEDs located on the
front panel show the setting, and the Upper LEDs show the current used channel
for USB Device, red light (and expected channel to switch, green light).
Auto-Cycle Switching:
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [A] [U] [T] [O] N: (default value N=0)
- Switch to the right channel after enabling on the feature. It will switch the first time
within 3 seconds. (N=0~1, 1: enable, 0: disable)
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [I] N [Enter]: (default value N=5)
- Set the interval time of switching to the right channel. (N=5~999 seconds.)

HDCP Setting (default value N=1):

HDCP 2.2 feature configuration. (N=0~1)
0: Don’t lock HDCP Engine. PC1~PC4 support HDCP 1.4/2.2.
1: Lock HDCP Engine.
PC1 & PC2 support HDCP 1.4/2.2.
PC3 & PC4 support HDCP 1.4.
HDMI switch interval will be shorter. Depends on the input and screen.
USB Switching Protection (default value N=1):
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [U] [S] [B] N:
Protect USB 3.1 Gen1 port switching located on the front panel. (N=0~1, 1: Enable
0: Disable)
If protection is enabled, this USB port can’t switch when USB device is writing or
reading. When USB device is IDLE, it will switch to new channel automatic. This
function depends on the compatibility of the operating system and the USB device.
Reset:
[Num Lock] [Num Lock] [R] [S] [T]:
- Reset all configurations to factory default values.

7.1 Mouse Application
Example 1: Switch to the right channel.
Press mouse Middle (roller) + Right Buttons:

* Switch to the right channel in 1→2→3→4→1….sequences.
* Lock Console to channel 1 and USB Device to channel 4.
