IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Keep hands and utensils out of
container while blending to reduce
the risk of severe injury to persons
or damage to the blender. A scraper
may be used but must be used only
when the blender is not running.
Blades are sharp. Handle carefully. To
reduce the risk of injury, never place
cutter-assembly blades on base
without jar properly attached.
Always operate blender with cover in
place.
The use of attachments, including
canning jars, not recommended by
the manufacturer may cause a risk of
injury to persons.
For close-top jar assembly, risk of
thermal burn injury due to excessive
pressure in the container. Do not
blend hot liquids.
For open-top jar assembly, when
blending hot liquids, remove center
piece of two-piece cover.
This appliance has a polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not fit
fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If
it still does not fit, contact a qualified
electrician. Do not modify the plug in
any way.

1. Make sure that you start with a
clean jar before use.

NOTE
The blender doesn't have the
functionality of heating up liquid
directly inside it. Hot soup program
means that the blender is capable of
mixing the hot soup/liquid that is put
inside without breaking the jar.
2. Rinse the ingredients thoroughly.

vegetables.

remove any hard or large seeds.

4. Place the lid on the jar with
the cap on the right side of the
jar handle then turn clockwise
to make sure that it is securely
locked.
NOTE
You can add ingredients through
the filler hole while the blender is in
operation.
5. Fit the measuring cup in the lid by
rotating clockwise until it clicks into
position.

The blender can’t be turned on
unless the jar is perfectly fitted on the
blender base.
6. Place the jar with attached blade
assembly on the blender base
with the handle to the right. Rotate
it clockwise until it locks into
position.

then select the program, or turn
the knob onto directly to the
desired speed.

WARNING
Do not exceed the maximum fill
volume as indicated on the jar.
The jar is made of
borosilicate glass
that can withstand
even boiling water
(212°F/100°C).
Please ensure that
the jar temperature
is at room
temperature
(77°F/25°C) for at
least 4 hours before filling with boiling
water.
Be careful when
opening the lid with
hot liquid inside as
released steam can
cause burns.

WARNING
Never operate the
blender without the
lid. Never run the
blender empty, as
this can cause
overheating and
damage the
product. Keep
hands and utensils
out of the appliance during operation
to avoid the risk of severe injury or
damage to the appliance. A scraper
may be used only when the blender is
not running.
During operation, do not remove
your jar from the blender base. If it’s
necessary to remove the jar, first turn
off the blender, then remove it.
NOTE
With Pulse mode you can give the
ingredients a quick mix to achieve
your desired consistency.
9. The blender will
operate until the
selected program
is finished. Turn
the knob to the
OFF position to
manually stop
any program.
10. Turn the blender jar
counterclockwise and lift to remove
it from the blender base.
13. Unplug the blender.
NOTE
Always detach the blade assembly
from the jar and rinse clean before
placing it into the dishwasher.
WARNING
Do not let the blender run for
more than 2 minutes when filled to
maximum capacity.
Allow the blender
to cool down for
at least 20
minutes before
continuing. 11. Pour and serve.
12. Wash the components right after
use in order to avoid drying of food
residue on components.
NOTE
The blender will go into standby and
flash if not used within 5 minutes. Turn
it off and then on again to resume use.

1. Start with a clean jar before use,
do not fill above the max line.
2. Insert the blade assembly into the
takeaway jar adapter.
3. Screw the adapter tight to the
takeaway jar clockwise to make
sure that it is securely locked.
4. Set the takeaway jar on the
blender base and Rotate it
clockwise until it locks into
position.
5. Plug in the blender.
6. Turn the knob to the ”ON” position
then select the program, or turn
the knob onto directly to the
desired speed.
7. The blender will operate until the
selected program is finished. Turn
the knob to the OFF position to
manually stop any program.
8. Turn the takeaway jar and adapter
counterclockwise and lift to remove
the jar from the blender base.
9. Remove the takeaway jar adapter
and replace with the takeaway jar
cap.
10. Wash the
components
right after
use in order
to avoid
drying of
food residue
on blade
assembly
and adapter.
11. Unplug the
blender.
10 CARE & CLEANING
Cleaning
Always unplug the
blender before
cleaning.
NOTE
Always detach the blade assembly
with jar for cleaning to ensure no
leftover food is stuck in between the
blades. Do not completely immerse
the blade assembly into water.
Motor Housing
Never immerse the blender base in
water. Only clean with a damp cloth.
Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring
pads or abrasive detergents while
cleaning the appliance.
Jar, blade assembly, lid and measuring
cup are dishwasher safe.
Don’t use a wire brush, steel wool or
bleach to avoid rust if washing by hand.
Disposal
This symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that the product
may not be treated as household waste. To recycle your product, please
take it to an official collection point or to an Electrolux service center
that can remove and recycle the battery and electric parts in a safe and
professional way. Follow your countrys rules for the separate collection of
electrical products and rechargeable batteries.

dishwasher liquid then run MAX speed
for 30 seconds for rinsing purpose.

WARRANTY
Your appliance is covered by a one year limited warranty. For one year from
your original date of purchase, Electrolux will pay all costs for repairing or
replacing any parts of this appliance that prove to be defective in materials
or workmanship when such appliance is installed, used and maintained in
accordance with the provided instructions.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover the following:
Products with original serial numbers that have been removed, altered or cannot
be readily determined.
Product that has been transferred from its original owner to another party or
removed outside the USA or Canada.
Products purchased “as-is” are not covered by this warranty.
Products used in a commercial setting.
Service calls which do not involve malfunction or defects in materials or
workmanship, or for appliances not in ordinary household use or used other than
in accordance with the provided instructions.
Damages caused by: services performed by unauthorized service companies;
use of parts other than genuine Electrolux parts or parts obtained from persons
other than authorized service companies; or external causes such as abuse,
misuse, inadequate power supply, accidents, fires, or acts of God.
