Wire colors noted within this document are industry
standard. Some RV manufacturers use different col-
ors. Refer to RV manufacturer’s wiring schematics.
A. Switch Panel Mounting Preparation
1. Do NOT expose switch to weath-
er, extreme temperatures, or long hours in direct
sunlight.
Determine suitable location for switch installa-
tion.
2. Using hand held saw, cut opening in wall or cabi-
net to mount switch panel. See (FIG. 1).
FIG. 1 3.50″
1.75″
Allow 0.50″
clearance on sides.
Allow 0.63″ clearance
on top and bottom.
3. Using switch plate as template, carefully mark
and drill four (4) 7/64″ diameter holes.
B. Wire Switch to 12 Vdc Power Supply
1. Install a (15 A) fuse (installer sup-
plied) at fuse panel for positive (+) 12 Vdc power
supply ( RED wire) to switch. Otherwise, damage
to unit could occur.
2. Route (2) wires (RED & BLACK; installer sup-
plied) from 12 Vdc power supply to switch.
3. Terminate both wires with 1/4″ female insulated
terminals.
4. Connect positive (+) RED wire to bottom left (+)
switch terminal. See (FIG. 2).
5. Connect negative (-) BLACK wire to top left
GND switch terminal. See (FIG. 2).
C. Wire Switch to Motorized Arm Assembly
1. Route (2) more wires (RED & BLACK; installer
supplied) from switch to right side (motorized)
arm assembly. To avoid voltage drop, follow wire
length guide listed in Table 1.
2. Terminate switch end of wires with 1/4″ female
insulated terminals.
3. Connect positive (+) RED wire to middle left
(MTR) switch terminal. See (FIG. 2).
4. Connect negative (-) BLACK wire to right (MTR)
switch terminal. See (FIG. 2).
5. Connect other end of wires (RED to RED,
BLACK to BLACK) to motorized arm assembly
using properly sized, UL certied butt splice con-
nectors (installer supplied).
Refer to crimp tool manufacturer for crimp-
ing instructions.
D. Wire Track Switch
1. Install a (15 A) fuse (installer sup-
plied) at fuse panel for positive (+) 12 Vdc power
supply ( RED wire) to switch. Otherwise, damage
to unit could occur.
2. Route RED wire (installer supplied) from 12 Vdc
power supply and connect to terminal 1 on Track
switch. See (FIG. 2).
3. Connect WHITE wire (12 ga.) from Power Chan-
nel wire harness to terminal 2 on Track switch.
See (FIG. 2).
4. Route BLACK wire (installer supplied) from (-)
12 Vdc (ground) and connect to terminal 3 on
Track switch. See (FIG. 2).
5. Connect GREEN wire (12 ga.) from Power
Channel wire harness to ground.
E. Wire LED Switch
1. Install a (3 A) fuse (installer sup-
plied) at fuse panel for positive (+) 12 Vdc power
supply ( RED wire) to switch. Otherwise, damage
to unit could occur.
2. Route RED wire (installer supplied) from 12 Vdc
power supply and connect to terminal 1 on LED
switch. See (FIG. 2).
3. Connect BLACK wire (12 ga.) from Power Chan-
nel wire harness to terminal 2 on LED switch.
See (FIG. 2).
4. Route BLACK wire (installer supplied) from (-)
12 Vdc (ground) and connect to terminal 3 on
LED switch. See (FIG. 2).
F. Mount Switch Panel
1. Assemble switch panel into previously cut hole.
2. Secure switch panel using #6-20 x 0.75″ at
head screws.
