shield with waterproof sealant (1).

Failure to seal the wall can lead to

possible water damage. 

is greater than 120°F or that

permitted by local plumbing code,

adjust the rotational limit stop. See

page 16.

Turnthewatero.

Removethehandle(4).

Lubricatethecartridgeo-ringusingasmall

amountofwhiteplumber'sgrease.

Installthesleeve.

Installtheescutcheon.

Use the following procedure to

remove the cartridge.

Do not attempt to pry the cartridge

from the function block by using

a screwdriver, or damage to the

cartridge will result.

Placethehandleonthecartridgestem.

Turnthehandlecounter-clockwiseapproximately

¼turnafterhittingthestop.

Reverse the cartridge

Ifthevalveopensthroughhot,reversethe

cartridge.

Close the stops using a 4 mm Allen

wrench, or turn the water o at the

main (1).

Unscrewthenut(2).

Model 04441000 only:

Installthehandle.

Tightenthescrewusinga3mmAllenwrench.

All other models:

Installthehandle.

Tightenthehandlescrewusinga2.5mmAllen

wrench.

Limited Consumer Warranty

ThisproducthasbeenmanufacturedandtestedtothehighestqualitystandardsbyHansgrohe,Inc.(“Hansgrohe”).

ThiswarrantyislimitedtoHansgroheproductsthatarepurchasedbyaconsumerintheUnitedStatesorCanada

afterMarch1,1996,andinstalledineitherintheUnitedStatesorinCanada.

WHOISCOVEREDBYTHEWARRANTY

Thiswarrantyextendstotheoriginalpurchaseronly.Thiswarrantyisnon-transferable.

WHATISCOVEREDBYTHEWARRANTY

ThewarrantycoversonlyyourHansgrohemanufacturedproduct.Hansgrohewarrantsthisproductagainstdefectsin

materialorworkmanshipasfollows:

Hansgrohewillreplaceatnochargeforpartsonlyor,atitsoption,replaceanyproductorpartoftheproductthat

provesdefectivebecauseofimproperworkmanshipand/ormaterial,undernormalinstallation,use,serviceand

maintenance.IfHansgroheisunabletoprovideareplacementandrepairisnotpracticalorcannotbemadein

timelyfashion,Hansgrohemayelecttorefundthepurchasepriceinexchangeforthereturnoftheproduct.

LENGTHOFWARRANTY

Replacementorrepairedpartsofproductswillbecoveredforthetermofthiswarranty,asstatedinthefollowing

twosentences.Ifyouareaconsumerwhopurchasedtheproductforuseprimarilyforpersonal,familyorhousehold

purposes,thiswarrantyextendsforaslongasyouowntheproductandthehomeinwhichtheproductisoriginally

installed.Ifyoupurchasedtheproductforuseprimarilyforanyotherpurpose,including,withoutlimitation,a

commercialpurpose,thiswarrantyextendsonly(i)for1year,withrespecttoHansgrohe&Commercialproducts,

and(ii)for5years,withrespecttoAxorproducts.

THISWARRANTYDOESNOTCOVER,ANDHANSGROHEWILLNOTPAYFOR:

A. Conditions,malfunctionsordamagenotresultingfromdefectsinmaterialorworkmanship.

B. Conditions,malfunctionsordamageresultingfrom(1)normalwearandtear,improperinstallation,improper

maintenance,misuse,abuse,negligence,accidentoralteration;(2)theuseofabrasiveorcausticcleaning

agentsor“no-rinse”cleaningproducts,ortheuseoftheproductinanymannercontrarytotheproduct

instructions;or(3)conditionsinthehomesuchasexcessivewaterpressureorcorrosion.

C. Laborandotherexpensesfordisconnection,deinstallation,orreturnoftheproductforwarrantyservice

(includingbutnotlimitedtoproperpackagingandshippingcosts),orforinstallationorreinstallationofthe

product.

D. Accessories,connectedmaterialsandproducts,orrelatedproductsnotmanufacturedbyHansgrohe.

E. AnyHansgroheorAxorproductsoldfordisplaypurposes.

F. RubbedBronzenishissubjecttoa3-yearlimitedwarranty.ChromeandallPVDnishesarecoveredbythe

limitedlifetimewarranty.

G. HansgroheWaterFiltrationSystemissubjecttoa1-yearlimitedwarranty.Warrantydoesnotinclude

replacementlters.
