AP-TTS16-BL Table-Top Stand for Novara US 16-Button KeyPads/ControlPads
Overview
The AP-TTS16-BL Table Top Stand (FG1301-17) for 16-Button US Novara
KeyPads and ControlPads (Keypads and ControlPads not included) provides a
table top installation option for conference rooms and residential applications.
Installation
The following sections describe each step required to install a Novara 16-Button
US-Style Keypad or ControlPad into the AP-TTS16-BL Table-Top Stand.
Note: Before touching the device, discharge the static electricity from your body
by touching a grounded metal object.
Step 1: Disconnect ControlPad Wiring
If connected, disconnect all wiring from the KeyPad or ControlPad.
Novara 16-button KeyPads and ControlPads use a set of captive-wire
connectors on the rear panel for all control and power wiring connections.
Novara ControlPads also feature a USB device configuration port on the
top panel of the backbox. This connector is only intended to be used for
configuration, so it typically is not connected at all times.
Note that once the ControlPad is installed into the Table-Top Stand, the
USB port will not be accessible.
Refer to the NOVARA 1000 Series ControlPads Installation Guide (available at
www.amx.com) for wiring and connection details.
Step 2: Establish Internal Connections
FIG. 2 indicates the location of the AxLink connector on the rear panel of the

The cables are pre-installed in the cable strain relief inside the enclosure.
Connect the cables directly to the captive-wire connector terminal on the rear
panel of the KeyPad or ControlPad (FIG. 4).
