1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING :
To reduce the risk of serious injury, read the following safety instructions before using the TROJAN VELOCITY 400 BIKE.
1. Use the TROJAN VELOCITY 400 BIKE only on a level surface.
2. Keep children and pets away from this equipment at all times.
3. The TROJAN VELOCITY 400 BIKE should not be used by persons weighing more than 110kgs.
4. The TROJAN VELOCITY 400 BIKE should be used by only one person at a time.
5. Be careful to maintain your balance while using, mounting, dismounting, folding, unfolding or assembling the TROJAN
VELOCITY 400 BIKE, loss of balance may result in a fall and serious bodily injury.
6. Use the TROJAN VELOCITY 400 BIKE only as described in the manual.
7. Do not attempt to adjust the seat position while you are on the TROJAN VELOCITY 400 BIKE.
8. Before using this equipment to exercise, always do stretching exercises to properly warm up.
9. Always make sure all bolts and nuts are tightened prior to each use.

4. ASSEMBLY STEP
STEP 01
• Loosen the pre-assembly Screws on the Front / Rear
Stabilizer. (D&G)
• Fasten Front and Rear Stabilizers, each with 4 Carriage
Bolts(I -11& I -10), 4 curved Washers (I - 8), and 4 Nuts
(I - 9) to the base construction.
• After assembly the bike can be adjusted to slightly
uneven ground by adjusting the height of the Foot Caps
on the back.
• The pre-assembled transportation wheels (D-1) in the
front allow easy maneuvering of the bike.
STEP 02
• Screw the Pedals (F-R&L) onto the crank. The Pedals are
marked with R and L at the Screw.
• Tighten the left Pedal (F-L) anti-clockwise, the right Pedal
(F-R) clockwise.
STEP 03
• Assemble the Seat (H-1) to the Seat Post (H) with 3
Washers and Nuts (H-2 & H-3).
• Insert the Seat Post (H) to the Main Frame (E) Select
the ideal hole position on the Seat Post (H). Insert the
Knob (E-5) into the hole. Tighten the Knob fully.

STEP 05
• Put the Handlebar Clamp (I-1) onto the Handlebar (B). Assemble
it with 2 Spring Washers (I-7) and 2 Flat Washers (I-6).
• Put the cover of Handlebar (I-2) onto the Handlebar (B) and
tighten it with Allen Bolt (I-4) and T-Knob (I-5) with Bushing (I-3)
to the Handlebar.
• Make sure the Handlebar is located in the right position by
adjusting both upper and lower Screws together.
STEP 06
• Connect the top of Upper Computer Cable (C-4) into the back of
the Computer.
Screws (A-1).
• Plug the Pulse Wire (B-1) in the socket at the back of Computer.
• Connect Adaptor (M) for supplying power.
CAUTION:
Ensure that cables are not damaged
during assembly or when tightening screws.

Post (C-1).
• Connect the upper Computer Cable (C-4) with lower
Computer Cable (E-1)
• Attach Handlebar Post (C) to Main Frame (E) with 4 hexagon
Screws and Washers. (I-8, C-3)
CAUTION:
Ensure that cables are not damaged

5. COMPUTER FUNCTIONS
1. Power on, LCD will display "segment" for 2 seconds with long beeping sound, (drawing 1), and will display wheel diameter
(drawing2) then you can enter calendar setting mode.

Note :
1. The screen will switch off and display room temperature, clock & calendar when you stop training or there is no signal for 4
minutes.
2. If the computer displays incorrect data, please unplug the adapter and plug-in again.
BUTTON FUNCTIONS
ENTER To set function value for TIME, DIST, CAL, PULSE in sleep mode.
RESET
Return to main function mode in STOP mode and clear all preset function values to zero.
START/STOP To start or stop training
RECOVERY
To t est heart rate recovery status.
DIAL UP
To s elect training mode and adjust function value up.
DIAL DOWN
To s elect training mode and adjust function value down.
FUNCTIONS
TIME
Count up
No preset target, Time will count up from 00:00 to maximum 99:59 with each
increment is 1 second.
Count down
If training with preset Time, Time will count down from preset to 00:00.
Each preset Increment or decrement is 1 minute between 1:00 to 99:00.
SPEED Display current training speed from 0.0 to maximum 99.9 km or ml.
RPM Display current training rotation per minute.
DISTANCE
Count up
No preset target, Distance will count up from 0.00 to maximum 99.90 with each

Count down
If training with preset target, Distance will count down from preset to 0.00.
Each preset increment or decrement is 0.1 KM between 0.00 to 99.90.
CALORIES
Count up
No preset target, Calories will count up from 0 to maximum 990 with each 1 cal
increment.
Count down
If training with preset target, Calories will count down from preset time to 0.
Each preset increment or decrement is 10 cal from 0 to 990 cal.
PULSE
To display your current heart rate figures as soon as the pulse sensor has been touched. The
monitor will detect your heart best through handgrip sensors once you hold on with both hands.
WATT Display current training watt figures.
RECOVERY
After exercising for a period of time, keep holding on handgrips and press “RECOVERY”
button. All function display will stop except “TIME” starts counting down from 00:60 to 00:00.
Screen will display your heart rate recovery status with the F1,F2….to F6. F1 is the best, F6
is the worst. User may keep exercising to improve the heart rate recovery status. (Press the
RECOVERY button again to return the main display.)
TEMPERATURE Screen will display room temperature in sleep mode.
CALENDAR Screen will display year/month/day in sleep mode.
CLOCK Screen will display time in sleep mode.
COMPUTER FUNCTIONS
9. When Ui is flashing , you may turn dial UP/DOWN to select between user 1-9. Enter personal date (age, weight,
heig ht, gender) and press ENTER to confirm.
10. Training in B ODY FAT MODE: In STOP mode, press BODY FAT button to start BODY FAT measurement..
Se lected user will flash for 2 seconds and then start measuring. During measuring, you must wear a chest belt or
have both hands firmly place d on hand grips. LCD will display "----" for 8 seconds until measurement has com-
plete d.. LCD will dispay BODY FAT %,BMR, BMI for 30 seconds.

AEROBIC EXERCISE
Aerobic exercise is any sustained activity that sends oxygen to your muscles via your heart and lungs.

Your heart beats quickly and you breathe deeply. An aerobic exercise should be part of your entire exercise routine.
WEIGHT TRAINING
Along with aerobic exercising which helps get rid of and keep off the excess fat that our bodies can store,
weight training is an essential part of the exercise routine process. Weight training helps tone, build and strengthen
muscle. If you are working above your target zone, you may want to do a less amount of reps.
And as always consult your physician before beginning any exercise program.

The exercise routine that is performed on the cycle will develop the lower body muscle group as well as condition the
circulatory system and provide a good aerobic workout . These muscle groups are highlighted on the muscle chart below.
6. FITNESS TIPS AND TECHNIQUES
EXERCISE INTENSITY

7. CONDITIONING GUIDELINES
How you begin your exercise program depends on your physical condition. If you have been inactive for several years, or
are severely overweight, you must start slowly and increase your time on the equipment; a few minutes per workout.

8. WARM-UP AND COOL-DOWN
WORKOUT GUIDELINES
Each workout should include the following three parts:
A warm-up, consisting of 5 to 10 minutes of stretching and light exercise. A proper warm-up increases your body tem-
perature, heart rate, and circulation in preparation for exercise.
Training zone exercise, consisting of 20 to 30 minutes of exercising with your heart rate in your training zone. (Note:
$URINGTHElRSTFEWWEEKSOFYOUREXERCISEPROGRAMDONOTKEEPYOURHEARTRATEINYOURTRAININGZONEFORLONGERTHAN
20 minutes.)
A cool-down, with 5 to 10 minutes of stretching. This will increase the flexibility of your muscles and will help to prevent
post-exercise problems.
EXERCISE FREQUENCY
To maintain or improve your condition, plan three workouts each week, with at least one day of rest between workouts.

SUGGESTED STRETCHES
The correct form for several basic stretches is shown at the right. Move slowly as you
stretch-never bounce.
1. Toe Touch Stretch
Stand with your knees bent slightly and slowly bend forward from your hips. Allow
your back and shoulders to relax as you reach down toward your toes as far as pos-
sible. Hold for 15 counts, then relax. Repeat 3 times. Stretches: Hamstrings, back of
knees and back.
2. Hamstring Stretch
Sit with one leg extended. Bring the sole of the opposite foot toward you and rest it
against the inner thigh of your extended leg. Reach toward your toes as far as pos-
sible. Hold for 15 counts, then relax. Repeat 3 times for each leg. Stretches: Ham-
strings, lower back and groin.
3. Calf/Achilles Stretch
With one leg in front of the other, reach forward and place your hands against a
wall. Keep your back leg straight and your back foot flat on the floor. Bend your
front leg, lean forward and move your hips toward the wall. Hold for 15 counts, then
relax. Repeat 3 times for each leg. To cause further stretching of the achilles tendons,
bend your back leg as well. Stretches: Calves, achilles tendons and ankles.
4. Quadriceps Stretch
With one hand against a wall for balance, reach back and grasp one foot with your
other hand. Bring your heel as close to your buttocks as possible. Hold for 15 counts,
then relax. Repeat 3 times for each leg. Stretches: Quadriceps and hip muscles.
5. Inner Thigh Stretch
Sit with the soles of your feet together and your knees outward. Pull your feet
toward your groin area as far as possible. Hold for 15 counts, then relax. Repeat 3
times. Stretches: Quadriceps and hip muscles.

Q1. My computer consol is not working
1. Check your batteries are still in working condition (Manual & Electronic bicycles)
2. Check that your power cord is in your power outlet and is on.
3. Check that you have a power supply to your home.
4. Ensure that the consol computer cables have been connected properly in the neckpiece when assembling the unit.
Q2. My consol is showing an ‘E2’ error
1. The computer cable cannot be detected, please check if the cable has been connected properly
Q3. My consol is showing an ‘E4’ error
1. Body fat reading has exceeded the pre-programmed limit ( upper limit 50%; lower limit 5%)
Please re-enter your age, weight and height on the computer and resume training.

Masstores (Pty)Ltd (“the Supplier”) hereby provides a limited warranty to the original purchaser of this product (“the
Consumer”) that this product will be free of manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship which under normal,
personal, family or household use (commercial use expressly excluded) manifest themselves within the following stipu-
lated periods from the date of purchase:
Exclusions
The warranty does not include and will not be construed to cover products damaged as a result of disaster; misuse;
commercial use; use not in accordance with the written instructions included with the product; abuse; and/or any
non-authorized modication of the product. It also does not cover replacement of the light bulbs and other expendables.
All demo models carry a 3 month warranty.
Waiver
The warranty provided herein and the obligations of the Supplier are in lieu of, and the Customer waives, all other war-
ranties, guarantees, conditions or liabilities, express or implied, arising by law or otherwise, including without limitation, any
obligation of the Supplier in respect of any injury , loss or damage (direct, indirect or consequential) arising out of the
use of, or inability to use, this product and whether or not occasioned by the Supplier’s negligence or any act or omission
on its part.
Claims under 1 Year Limited Warranty
Within 7 days of purchase:
The faulty product will be exchanged (provided that the product is in its original packaging with all accessories).
After 7 days but within 3 months of purchase:
The Supplier may in its sole discretion either replace or repair the product.
After 3 months but within 1 year of purchase:
The Supplier may in its sole discretion either replace or repair the product. The following shall not be covered:

Parts not mentioned in the above, are covered under warranty within the 1st year of purchase

Proof of Purchase
Any claim in terms of the warranty must be supported by a proof of purchase or a warranty number.
Warranty numbers can be issued through contacting our call centre on 0861 Trojan (0861 876 526),
or online at www.trojanhealth.co.za. If such proof is not available, then notwithstanding anything to the
contrary herein, the service agent’s prevailing charges for services/repairs including call-out and/or spares will
be payable by the Consumer upon collection or delivery of the repaired product.
The Consumer does not need to return the product to the store.
The Consumer shall phone the Trojan hotline on 0861 Trojan (0861 876 526) and the Supplier’s authorized agent will
