DANCO 88860 is a replacement tub/shower handle used to control the flow of water in your bathroom. It comes with two handles, two index buttons, two adapters, and two sets of screws (long and short). Instructions
Tools Required: Screwdriver
1. Turn off water supply to faucet.
2. Pry off Handle Button (A) with small screwdriver.
3. Remove Handle Screw (B).
4. Remove old Handle (C) and discard of old Handle Button,
Handle Screw and Handle.
If your stem is short
5. Insert Adapter (D) into replacement Handle, spline side first.
6. Place replacement Handle with Adapter onto Faucet Stem (E).
Make sure spline side of Stem and female broach of Adapter fit
together snugly.
7. Secure Handle with long Handle Screw (F) provided and tighten.
8. Place replacement Handle Button into top of Faucet Handle.
9. Turn on water supply to faucet. Check for leaks.
If your stem is long
5. Place replacement Handle directly onto long Faucet Stem (E).
6. Secure Handle with short Handle Screw (G) provided and tighten.
7. Place replacement Handle Button into top of Faucet Handle.
8. Turn on water supply to faucet. Check for leaks.
Instrucciones
Herramientas necesarias: Destornillador
1. Apagar el surtido de agua a la llave.
2. Quitar el Botón de la Palanca (A) con un desarmador
pequeño.
3. Remover el Tornillo de Palanca (B).
4. Remover el Manija usado (C) y desechar el Botón, el `
Tornillo y el Manija.
Si el Tallo es corto
5. Introducir el Adaptador (D) en el Manija que se va a
remplazar, el lado de la ranura .
6. Poner el Manija de remplazo con el Adaptador en el
Tallo de la Llave (E). Asegurarse que el lado del abordo
femenino del Tallo, y el Adaptador quedan ajustados.
7. Asegurar el Manija con el Tornillo del Manija largo (F)
proveído y apretar.
8. Poner el Botón de Manija de remplazo sobre el Manija
de la Llave.
9. Prenderle el agua a la llave. Ver que no hay escape de
agua.
Si el Tallo es largo
5. Poner el Manija que se va a remplazar directamente
sobre la Llave de Tallo largo (E).
6. Asegurar el Manija con el Tornillo de Manija corto (G)
proveído y apretar.
7. Poner el Botón de Manija que se va a remplazar dentro
de la tapa del Manija de la Llave.
8. Prender el surtido de agua a la llave. Ver que no hay
escape de agua.
