1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Please read the Instructions for Use carefully and then proceed and save them!

Do not forget to enclose these instructions if you give the device to someone else. This

appliance is intended for domestic use or for use in non-industrial applications similar to

domestic ones.

When using this electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including

the following:

• Read all instructions.

• Before use, check that the voltage indicated on the product corresponds to the voltage of your

electrical outlet.

• Do not let cord hang over hot surface or edge of table or counter.

• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance has

malfunctioned or been damaged in any way. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized

service center for examination, repair or adjustment.

• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or

a similar qualified person to avoid a hazard.

• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

• Avoid contact with moving parts.

• Keep hands and utensils out of the container while blending to reduce the risk of serious

injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper can be used, but it should be used only

when the blender is not working.

• The use of accessories not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric

shock, or injury.

• Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning.

To disconnect, turn any control to "0", then remove the plug from the wall outlet by grasping

the plug, not the cord.

• To reduce the risk of injury, never place the blade assembly on the motor unit without the jug

properly positioned.

• This appliance must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach

of children.

• The devices can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or

lack of experience and knowledge if they have received supervision or instructions on how to

use the device safely and if they understand the dangers involved.

• Children must not play with the appliance.

• Do not leave the machine unattended.

• When removing the blender from the motor unit, wait until the blades have come to a complete

stop.

• Always operate the blender with the lid in place.

• Always use the appliance on a level, safe and dry surface.

• Never place this appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner or where it may touch a hot

appliance.

• Do not use it outdoors.

• Do not use the appliance for any other use than the one indicated.

• Do not operate without this cover in place.

• Avoid any contact with blades or moving parts.

• Turn off the appliance and disconnect it from the electrical supply before changing

accessories or approaching parts that move during use. Always disconnect the appliance

from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning it.

This appliance is designed to be used in household and similar applications, such as:

o Kitchen areas for staff in shops, offices and other work environments;

o Country houses;

o By clients in hotels, motels and other residential-type settings;

o Bed and breakfast type environments.

• Care must be taken when handling the sharp blades, when emptying the bowl, and during

cleaning.

3. BEFORE THE FIRST USE

Before the first use, unpack the appliance and place all parts on a horizontal surface.

The cup assembly (including the measuring cup, lid, gaskets, cup, blade assembly, and cup base)

has already been assembled on the motor unit. Disassemble to wash all removable parts except the

motor unit.

Once all parts have been completely cleaned and dried, reassemble.

Invert the jar on a level surface, holding the jar handle, place the blade assembly in the bottom of

the jar base and secure the blade assembly by turning it counterclockwise until tight. (See figure 3)

Replace the carafe assembly with the opening facing up. Wrap the base gasket around the bottom

of the lid and place the lid on the jar assembly. Place the measuring cup exactly on the lid by placing

the small projection on both sides of the cup into the slots in the lid and turning the cup clockwise

until tight. (See figure 4)

Finally, place the assembled carafe on the motor unit by lining up the strip at the bottom of the

assembled carafe. (See Fig. 5)

CAUTION: The carafe and carafe base are now secured. Do not attempt to rotate the carafe and

carafe base on the motor unit.

4. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

• Peel or core the fruits or vegetables and then cut them into small cubes.

• Place the food to be blended into the container (See Figure 6).

• Generally, a certain amount of purified water should be added to facilitate the proper

functioning of the appliance. The ratio of food and water is 2: 3. The amount of mixture should

not exceed the maximum level indicated on the bottle.

Note: Never add boiling liquids or run the appliance empty.

• Put the lid on the jar. Make sure the measuring cup is in place.

• Plug the power cord into a standard wall outlet.

• Turn the speed knob to the appropriate speed setting for your task (stir food at the highest

speed, but not at low speed).

• For fast or delicate blending tasks, turn the speed knob to the P position and hold it down for

a few seconds and then release it, the knob will reset to the O position automatically. Use

several times until the desired consistency is obtained.

• If you want to add ingredients while the blender is running, remove the measuring cup and

place it through the opening in the lid. (See figure 7)

• When crushing ice or hard food, keep one hand firmly on the lid.

• When you get the desired consistency, turn the knob to the O position.

Note: For each use, the consecutive run time should not exceed 2 minutes. A rest time of at least

10 minutes should be maintained between two continuous cycles, allow the unit to cool to room

temperature before performing the next cycle of operation.

If you want to stop the machine during operation, turn the knob to the O position at any time.

5. OPERATING TIPS

• For better circulation of food to be mixed with a little liquid, first pour the liquid into the jar and

then add the solids.

• Some of the tasks that cannot be performed efficiently with a blender are: whipping egg

whites, whipping cream, mashing potatoes, grinding meat, mixing batter, extracting juice from

fruits and vegetables.

• The following items should never be placed in the unit as they can cause damage: bones,

large pieces of solid food, frozen or hard food such as turnips.

• To crush ice, add up to 6 ice cubes. If you need more ice, remove the cup and add the cubes

one by one through the opening in the lid.

6. CARE AND CLEANING

• Before cleaning, unplug the blender.

• Always wash immediately after use to facilitate cleaning.

• Do not allow food to dry in the jar assembly as this will make cleaning difficult.

• Pour some warm soapy water into the jar and turn the knob to the P position for a few

seconds. And then empty the jar.

• Remove all removable parts. Lift the jar assembly out of the motor unit. To detach the blade

assembly by turning it clockwise from the bottom of the carafe base, and remove the blade

assembly (see figure 8). Also, separate the sealing ring 1 of the carafe lid from the carafe lid.

• Rinse the measuring cup, lid, seal ring 1, jug, seal ring 2, and blade assembly with your hands

or in a dishwasher and then dry. They are dishwasher safe components, but the temperature

setting should not exceed 70℃.

• Brush the blade with warm soapy water and then rinse well under running water. Do not touch

the sharp blades, handle them with care. Do not immerse the blade assembly in water. Let it

dry inside out out of the reach of children.

• Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth and dry it well.

• Remove stubborn stains by scrubbing with a non-abrasive cleaner.

• If liquids are spilled on the motor unit: unplug the unit, then wipe it with a damp cloth and dry

it well.

• Warning: To blend the maximum level load or hard fruits and vegetables you must make sure

the speed selector is on the highest speed (speed 5). If the speed is used too low, the motor

will be damaged due to insufficient torque. When the motor speed is found to be too slow,

you should immediately use a higher speed setting to mix or turn the speed selector to "0" to

stop mixing.

CAUTION: Do not immerse the motor unit in liquid to avoid the risk of electric shock. Do not use

scouring pads or harsh cleaners on parts or finish.

7. ELIMINATION OF DEPOSITS AND REMAINS

Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally sound manner. This appliance is

marked with the symbol of compliance with the European Directive 2012/19 / EU relating

to used electrical and electronic equipment (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment

WEEE). The directive provides the general framework valid throughout the European

Union for the removal and reuse of waste electrical and electronic equipment. Please

8. WARRANTY

Decakila undertakes to repair or replace free of charge for a period of 24 months, from the date of

purchase by the end user, the parts whose defect or lack of operation is due to manufacturing

causes, as well as the necessary labor for repair, as long as the device is taken by the user to the

Authorized Technical Service workshop. In the event that the user requests the Authorized

Technician to visit his home to repair the device, the user will be obliged to pay the travel expenses.

This warranty does not include: lamps, crystals, plastics, or aesthetic parts, claimed after the first

use, or breakdowns caused by causes beyond the manufacturing or non-domestic use. Likewise,
