Complaints have come to our attention of Punch P3 and Power T1 woofers that do not sound “good” in various applications.

In our investigation into this complaint we have uncovered an installation related problem.

In some cases this is caused because the gaskets supplied have not been installed on the woofer before mounting it in the box.

Also, some woofers are being installed with screws, (drywall or simular type screws), other than those supplied.

Solution: When installing these woofers, insure the gaskets have been installed on the woofer basket before mounting the

woofer in place.Also ensure the supplied mounting screws are used to secure the woofer.This will ensure an air-tight seal when

the woofer is installed. See figure 1 below.
