1. Burn only Real Flame
®
Ventless Fireplace Fuel in fireplace. Never burn trash, paper, wood or any other fuel
in the unit. SEVERE BURN HAZARD
2. Fireplace is not to be operated by anyone below age 18. Keep away from children and pets.
3. Make sure fireplace is placed on a flat and level surface. Failure to do so could cause the unit to tip, resulting
in serious injury, property damage or death.
4. Do not place fireplace in an area with lots of traffic, such as a hallway or entryway.
5. WARNING: Never alter or dismantle fireplace in any manner.
6. Never burn ventless fireplace fuel outside the designated burn area.
7. Do not burn more than the specified amount of fuel at any time.
8. Never leave a burning fire unattended, especially around children or pets.
9. Never touch rocks or any metal surfaces during or immediately after burning Ventless Fireplace Fuel. They will
be extremely HOT. Allow surfaces to cool for 20 minutes before touching, refueling, or moving the unit.
10. Do not wear flammable or loose clothing when operating the fireplace.
11. Exercise the same precautions as you would with any open fire.
12. DEATH, SERIOUS INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE may result if these warning are not followed correctly.

Using your

Real Flame
- Unit is for indoor or outdoor use.
- Before using unit, be sure you have read and understood the step-by-step
instructions.
- After several burns, soot may develop on the damper. Clean with a damp
soapy rag.
- During the initial burn, you may experience a slight odor. Odor is temporary
and will be absent on following burns.
® Ventless Fireplace Fuel contains isopropyl alcohol
Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes or prolonged contact with skin. May
irritate eyes. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep away from flame, heat or items that
spark. Use in well-ventilated areas. Keep out of reach of children and pets. In case
of fire, use a CO2 fire extinguisher or baking soda.

If fuel gets in eyes, flush with water for 15 minutes; get medical attention. If
ingested, do not induce vomiting; call poison control center or a doctor.

Read entire label and all instructions included with Ventless Fireplace Fuel and fireplace
may PROPERTY DAMAGE, SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH result if these warnings are not followed
Ventless Fireplace Fuel is flammable. Failure to follow warnings can result in property damage or serious burns.
Do not attempt to refill a fire that is already burning. Flare-ups or flashbacks can occur if you do. Make
sure that the fire is out and allow the unit to cool for 20 minutes before refuling.
Use only Real Flame
® Ventless Fireplace Fuel in this unit. Do not use with any other fuels or flammable material.
Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable materials, including fuel, near this product. Vapors from these
types of items may collect and increase the risk of fire, explosion or injury.
In case of an emergency use a CO2 extinguisher or baking soda to extinguish the fire.

Place the Base (1)upside down as shown.
Attach a Foot (2) in each corner of the base
using two screws (A).
Attach the Drip Pan (3) to the base
using four screws (A).

Place the Right Rear Support (6) over the left rear
bracket on the base as shown so that the support
leans in towards the center of the base.
Locate the Rear Glass (8) and Right Front Support (7).
With one hand insert the glass into the Right Rear
Support (6) and with the other hand insert the Right
Front Support (7) onto the right side of the glass.
Then place the Right Front Support (7) over the
corresponding bracket on base.
Both supports and glass should be leaning toward
the center of the base when complete.

Locate the Left Rear Support (5) and Side Glass (9).
With one hand insert the Side Glass (9) into
the slit on Right Rear Support (6). With the
other hand, place the Left Front Support
(5) onto the Side Glass (9) and set over the
corresponding bracket on the base. Hinges
on Left Rear Support (5) should face the
center of the Base.

Locate the Left Front Support (4) and the Side Glass (9).
With one hand place the Side Glass
(9) into the slit in the Right Front
Support (7) and with the other
hand place the Left Front
Support (4) onto the Side Glass (9).
Set the Front Right Support down
over the bracket on the base.
Loosely attach each support
to the base using one screw (A)
per support.
Locate the Hood (11) and align the top so that
the round section of the hood faces to the front
of the unit.
Place the Hood (11) on the unit so all four brackets
t inside each support.
Attach each corner of the Hood (11) to each
support (4, 5, 6 and 7) using one screw (A) per
support.
Tighten all screws.

Attach the Door Glass (10) to the hinges on the
Left Rear Support (5).
Place a rubber washer on both sides of the
holes in the Door Glass (10).
Insert the cap into the hole in the glass and
attach with a screw (B).
Insert troughs (12) into the openings in the base.

Place Logs (13,14 and 15)
onto the base. Place logs in
line with the openings in the
base as shown.
After placing the three logs
spread out the Lava Rock (17)
to cover the rest of the base.
NOTE:
Make sure you remove any lava
rocks that fall into the troughs.
You can pull the snuer closed
to avoid spilling lava rock into
the troughs.

With the troughs placed in the unit
ll each trough to the top of the post
in the trough or 3/4” from the lip of
the trough.
CLEAN UP ANY SPILLED FUEL
PRIOR TO LIGHTING.
Lighting
Use a long match or extended
lighter to ignite fuel.
NOTE
Finish lling troughs and replace cap
on fuel container before attempting
to light the unit.

have been removed for clarity.)
Using The Fuel
WARNING: RISK OF EXPLOSION
Do not attempt to add Ventless Fireplace Fuel to a fire that is already burning.
Use only Real Flame® Ventless Fireplace Fuel. Do not use with any other fireplace fuel
or flammable material.

Adjustment & Extinguishing

To Extinguish

shown until it reaches it's stopping
point and ames go out. Leave
closed for 10-15 seconds to ensure
ames have been fully extinguished.

Care and Cleaning

Before attempting to clean the replace or
remove the troughs make sure the replace
Remove trough by hooking the post in the
center of the trough with the scraper tool’s
hook end.
Carefully lift straight upward and out of the base.

Care and Cleaning - continued
Burn troughs should be cleaned every two to three burns. This
can be done with the included scraper tool.
- ALLOW TROUGH TO COOL COMPLETELY (20 minutes)
BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO CLEAN.
- Using edge of tool, carefully scrape away any residue
from sides and bottom of trough.
- Residue should be thrown away in the trash.
When the replace is not in use it should be covered by the black cover that is included with this unit.
Make sure that the replace is completely cooled down before attempting to cover.
A standard household glass cleaner can be used to clean the glass parts of the replace.
A damp rag and mild soap can be used to clean the body of the replace and the logs.

Warranty
Jensen Metal Products, Inc., doing business as Real Flame®, warrants Real Flame vent-less
fireplaces and accessories to be free from defects in parts and workmanship under normal use and
service for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. In the event of such defects Real Flame
will, at its option, replace the defective product or refund the purchase price. The foregoing is the
exclusive remedy and Real Flame disclaims all other warranties, including any implied warranty of
merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In addition, Real Flame will not be responsible
for consequential damages in excess of the purchase price of the product on which such liability is
based. Electric fireplaces carry a one-year warranty on the electric firebox only.
Return Policy
You may return your purchase within 90 days of receipt. No refunds will be issued for incomplete
or unauthorized returns. All returned products must be 100% complete, adequately packaged in
original packaging and in resalable condition. Products that have been assembled or modified will
not be eligible for return. All items must be returned in their entirety, meaning all items included
must be returned together. No returns or exchanges on discontinued items. Please begin the return
process by contacting the store or company where you bought your Real Flame item.
Replacement Parts
In the event that an item has been lost or damaged either by the manufacturer or in shipping you
may request a replacement. Replacement parts are not available for all units and only given at Real
Flame’s discretion. We will assess any damage and find a solution, which could include ordering
and shipping a replacement to you. No replacements are available for discontinued items or
repackaged (open box) products. Please call Real Flame Customer Service at 800-654-1704 for
replacement parts before returning the damaged item. Please have the following information,
which can be found in your instruction manual, ready before you call Customer Service.
• Model Number of Item
• 4-8 digit Part Number
• Lot Code Number
• Shipping Address
• A picture of the damaged item may be requested. Pictures should be
sent to custserv@realflame.com
Incorrect Order Received
If you received something other than you ordered, please contact Real Flame Customer Service at
