ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Apply Teﬂon® tape or pipe compound to all threads

before assembling.

2. Assemble per assembly diagram taking careful note

of the IN and OUT connections cast in the ﬁlter.

OPERATION

1. Loosen the tensioning bolt (A) and wiggle the ﬁlter

vessel (5) to break the seal and bleed entrapped air.

2. Tighten when liquid appears.

NOTE

If leakage occurs, further tightening of the bolt

will only stretch it without improving seal. Remove

shell and lubricate the gasket (16) with a suitable

lubricant. If leakage continues, replace the gasket.

3. Replace the ﬁlter cartridge (6) when ﬂow drops

below an acceptable point.
