Assembly Instructions
1. Please read instructions prior to assembly. 5. Do not tighten any bolts until all bolts have been started.
2. Verify that there are no missing parts. 6. Gently set parts on a flat, protective surface.
3. Keep instructions for future reference. 7. For indoor use.
4. Recommend to use 2 people for assembly.
CAUTION:
Please take safety precautions when using the tool chest.
o New drawer glides may be stiff and difficult to open when first expanding the glide. A
gently outward pull should release the safety catch that is built into the glide to prevent
drawer opening while moving the tool chest.
o Do not open more than one drawer at a time.
o Do not step or climb on drawers.
o Fill the bottom drawer first. If the tool chest is filled from the top drawer down, the tool
chest may become top-heavy and become unstable.
o Set the brake on locking casters unless you are moving the tool chest.
o Lock drawers priorto moving the chest.
This unit is intended for use only with the maximum weights indicated.
Use with products heavier than the maximum weights indicated may result in instability
causing possible injury.

beginning assembly.

Assembly Instructions
Open each drawer and remove the Drawer Handle(C)
from inside and re-install to the front of the drawer.
Repeat for all drawers.
Attach Side Handle (B) to Tool Box (A) with four Bolts
(D). Handle can be attached to either side of tool box.
Screw plastic caps (E) into remaining holes.
Lightly screw the plastic cap by hand, do
not pull the plastic cap.

Care and Maintenance
Use a soft, clean cloth that will not scratch the surface when dusting.
Using solvents of any kind on your product may damage the finish.
Do not use any harsh abrasives or chemicals to clean any metal surfaces as it may damage the
protective coating.
Metal will rust if the finish is scratched or if your product is exposed to excessive humidity, particularly in
salt water locations.
Check bolts/screws and nuts periodically and tighten them if necessary.
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
This Whalen Storage product is warranted to the original purchaser. If there is a failure in this unit due to defects in
materials or workmanship, Whalen Storage will repair or replace this item at our discretion without charge. Warranty
is void if product has been assembled incorrectly, misused, abused by overloading, altered in any way or damaged due
to accident. This warranty is not transferable and does not cover chipping, flaking, scratches, rust, dents, or other
damages to the surfaces of this product. Responsibility of Whalen Storage is limited to repair or replacement of this
product. Whalen Storage is not responsible for consequential, incidental, or other damages or losses resulting from
product failure.
This warranty is in lieu of all other expressed warranties. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific
legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

Drawer Instruction
If you need to remove the drawers from the unit please follow the below steps to prevent any damage to
the slides or the drawers.
If you need to remove the drawer, please pull the drawer
all the way out, then push the plastic release lever of the
ball bearing slide up on one side and down on the other
side, and then pull the drawer completely out.
To place the drawer back, simply push the ball bearing cart
all the way to the end of the slides (on both sides), and
align the slide runners on the drawer with the slide tracks
on the unit. Push it carefully inside until it stops.
Note: If they do not go smoothly please take out and
repeat step.
