force or negligent installation of the appliance.
GAS CONNECTION
The connection to the mains gas supply or the gas cylinder must
be made in accordance with the installation norms in force.
Remember that this appliance may only be installed and used in
rooms permanently ventilated in accordance with the norms in
force.
In other words, the rooms must have openings on outside walls
or suitable ducts which allow correct natural or forced ventilation,
permanently ensuring adequate intake of the air necessary for
proper combustion and the discharge of stale air. If this is the
only gas appliance in the room, a hood must be placed above it
for natural, direct removal of stale air, with a straight vertical flue
of length at least twice its diameter, with a minimum cross-section
of at least 100 cm
2
.
To allow the indispensable intake of fresh air into the room, a
suitable opening of at least 100 cm
2
leading directly outdoors
must be provided close to floor level, so that it cannot be obstructed
from the inside or outside of the wall and does not impede proper
burner combustion or the regular elimination of stale air; it must
be at least 180 cm below the level of the discharge opening.
In all other cases (i.e. when there are other gas appliances in the
same room or direct natural ventilation is not possible and indirect
natural ventilation or forced ventilation has to be provided) call
in a qualified specialist, who will install the appliance and construct
the necessary ventilation system in strict accordance with the
requirements of the norms in force.
Pressure regulators for LPG must comply with the norms in force.
Provide a stop tap between the gas supply and the appliance
(accessible with the appliance installed).
Make the connection directly to the 1/2" elbow on the gas hose,
using rigid connection pipes in accordance with the norms in
force, such as copper or lead iron, or using continuous-wall steel
hoses.
Avoid tight bends and take care not to crush the hose.
In addition, pipes must not apply stresses of any kind to the
appliance.
Check that the connection is airtight using soapy water.
L
N
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
THE APPLIANCE MUST BE CONNECTED IN CONFORMANCE
TO THE REGULATIONS IN FORCE, AND ONLY BY AN
AUTHORIZED ELECTRICAL INSTALLER.
WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED
Check that the power rating of the mains supply and sockets are
suitable for the maximum appliance power as indicated on the
specification plate. Fit the plug into a three pin, earthed socket.
This should be properly connected. If the appliance does not
come already fitted with a plug, fit a regulation plug suitable for
the power indicated on the specification plate. The earth wire is
yellow/green. If the plug fitted to the appliance is incompatible
with the socket, get a professionally qualified person to fit the
correct type of plug and ensure that the cable thickness is suitable
for the appliance input power.
If an appliance is not equipped
with supply cable and plug,
the power supply must be fitted with
a disconnect switch in which the distance between contacts
permits total disconnection in accordance with overvoltage category
III, as required by installation regulations.
The yellow/green earth wire should not be controlled by the
switch.
The plug or monophase switch used for mains supply connection
should be easy to access when the appliance is in position.
Important: position the mains supply cable so that it is never
subjected to a temperature more than 50°C above room
temperature. The appliances electrical safety can only be
guaranteed when it has been correctly connected to a properly
earthed power supply, as laid down in the regulations for electrical
safety. Important: the manufacturer cannot be held responsible
for any damage to persons or objects due to the lack of an earth
connection.

Grill Cooking
The heat comes from above.
Suitable for:
thin meat; toast.
Advice for grill cooking
Almost all meat can be cooked on the grill except for several thin,
game meats and meatloaf.
The meat and fish to be cooked on the grill should be sprinkled
with oil and placed on the grill; the former is moved nearer or
further away from the grill element based on the thickness of the
meat in order to avoid burning it on the outside and not cooking
it enough on the inside.
Add 1 or 2 cups of water to the drip tray to avoid the creation of
smoke caused by sauce or grease drippings.
Cooking times
Cooking times may vary based on the type of food, its homogeneity
and thickness.
It is advised to watch the cooking process the first few times and
verify the results so that, when making the same dishes under the
same conditions, similar results may be obtained.
