INSTRUCTIONAL MANUAL

If a Virtual Wall is not keeping Roomba confined to the desired areas, use the

following procedure:

1. Install fresh batteries.

2. Press button or set the switch to “Auto” to turn Virtual Wall on.

o Manual Virtual Wall: If green light does not turn on, contact iRobot

Customer Care. If green light is blinking, it means the batteries are low

and need to be replaced.

o Auto Virtual Wall: If green light does not start blinking, contact iRobot

Customer Care. If green light is blinking twice repeatedly, it means the

batteries are low and need to be replaced.

3. Place the Virtual Wall outside the doorway you wish to block, with the

arrow on top of the Virtual Wall facing out:

4. Ensure there are no Home Bases, Lighthouses, or other Virtual Walls in the

area that might interfere with the beam.

Other devices that use IR technology, such as remote controls, may

interfere with Virtual Wall beams.
