Thank you.
For having placed your trust in CARRERA – and for giving us
the opportunity to prove you right with our hot air brush.
Everything is driven by one idea.
Each CARRERA appliance follows a clear concept.
No consideration of existing gender roles, no pink for women
or blue for men. Since when did quality and performance
have a gender?
We create technology maximising user friendliness, handling
and aesthetics and bringing performance to life. Directly
when switching on the appliance and even after many years.
Performance is not just delivered by the motor alone, but
results from the skilful interplay of each individual component.
We just call it the CARRERA boost.
Although we have not reinvented the wheel, we had the cour-
age to do right what is crucial and to dispense with everything
that is unimportant.
That is our style. And you will rediscover it in each further
CARRERA appliance.

Installation of a residual current appliance
(FI/RCD) with a rated residual operating cur-

GB

DANGER of electric shock
Do not operate the appliance if it or the cable shows visible

hot surfaces. Do not wrap the cable around the appliance (cable
break danger!).
Make sure the cable is not trapped or crushed.
Ensure that the cable does not come into contact with the hot
surfaces of the appliance.

DANGER – Fire hazard
Never leave the appliance unattended while plugged in.
Never cover the appliance or place it on soft objects (e.g. bath
towels). Always place the switched-on/hot appliance on a solid,
level, heat-resistant surface.
Make sure that the air intake and air outlet are never blocked.
Keep the air intake grille away from long hair or objects that
could be drawn in.
This appliance is equipped with an overheat protection. In
the event of overheating caused, for instance, by covering
the air intake and air outlet grille, the appliance will switch off
automatically. If this happens, set the on/off switch to 0 (off),
pull the mains plug and allow the appliance to cool sufficiently.
Before switching it on again, make sure that the air intake grille
is not blocked by hair or foreign objects.
Do not switch on the appliance simultaneously with another
appliance with high power consumption connected to the
same power strip.
Never use petroleum, alcohol or other inflammable cleaning
agents.
Never use the appliance in combination with styling products.

the body that are sensitive to heat.
Never touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.
Allow the appliance to cool down completely before you clean

GB
CAUTION! Risk of material damage
Never place the appliance on hot surfaces (e.g. hot plates) or
near heat sources or open fire.
Do not use any harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
Store the appliance at a temperature between −10 °C and
+40 °C.
NOTES:
The ceramic coating of the styling attachments ensures even heat
distribution and allows styling your hair in a particularly gentle way.
The ceramic coating is particularly gentle to stressed or colour-
treated hair, thus ensuring a long-lasting colour brilliance of dyed
hair.
This appliance is equipped with an ionisation function, permanent-
ly releasing ions onto the hair to reduce the static charge of the
hair and allow easier styling. Single drops of water are divided into
tiny particles.
Thus, the hair dries faster and more gently.
The result is healthy, smooth and shiny hair whose natural moisture
is retained.

04. OPERATION
WARNING!
Do not use the appliance on wet hair. Use a towel to dry your

NOTE: Before using for the first time, switch the appliance on for
a few minutes. As a result of the manufacturing process, a slight odour
may be produced. This is not harmful and only occurs during initial
use. Ensure that the room has good ventilation.
Judge your hair sensibly: fine or damaged hair reacts to the treat-
ment more quickly than thick, healthy hair.
The thinner the strands you are treating, the more intensive the
resultant styling effect.
