The rst time you play
• Punch out the tokens and deck dividers.
• Put the dividers in the card box to sort the decks by sign.
OBJECT
Put your perception and intuition to the test as you
vote on whether statements are true or false about
your friends—and try to match what they say about
themselves. The rst player to get rid of all the
cards in their pile wins.
GET READY
1. Each player puts their sun sign deck within reach.
This is your draw deck.
• Don’t know your sun sign? It’s based on your
birthday—check out the back page!
• If two players have the same sun sign, they’ll
simply draw from the same deck. If three or
more players have the same sun sign, some
can try their moon or rising sign instead. (See
“What’s my sign?”)
2. Everyone draws ve cards from their sign’s deck
and puts them in a pile. This is your statement
pile. (You’ll only read the sides that are facedown.)
3. Everyone also gets one Sun
token and one Moon token.
You’ll use these to vote.
TRUE
FALSE
Is this true or false about
that player?
FALSETRUE
PLAY
Whoever’s birthday is next goes rst as the Dealer.
Play moves clockwise.
1. The Dealer ips the top card from their statement pile
and reads it aloud.
2. They think about whether that statement reects who
they are and secretly pick a token in response: either
Sun (true) or Moon (false).
3. Everyone else decides how to vote based on what
they think the Dealer will say about themself. Your
goal is to match the Dealer’s response.
4. On the count of three, all players reveal their votes by
placing either their Sun or Moon token faceup on the
table. Do your responses match?
If everyone matches the Dealer’s response…
The stars align! All players, including the Dealer, discard
one card from their statement pile. (Put discards at the
bottom of their matching draw deck.) The Dealer also
discards the card they just read.
If some (or all) don’t match the Dealer’s response…
Those who got it wrong must add one card from their
sign’s draw deck to their statement pile. Any players
who matched do nothing. The Dealer discards the card
they just read.
Remember to put all discards at the bottom of
their matching draw deck. If you end up drawing a
statement you already played this game, read the
other side!
WIN
Keep playing until someone runs out of cards in their
statement pile. That player wins (and clearly knows you
all the best).
Store the tokens in the token box when done playing.
WHAT’S MY SIGN?
Each player can choose to play with their sun,
moon, or rising sign.
• Your sun sign is what most people are familiar
with. It represents the foundation of who you
are and is the driving force behind your wants
and desires. It’s based on your birthday. Use
this sign to keep things simple.
• Your moon sign rules your emotions.
It’s typically a more hidden aspect of your
personality but might be the sign that you feel
is most reective of who you truly are. Try your
moon sign with close friends or family to see
how well they really know you.
• Your rising sign (also known as ascendant)
is your social self. It manifests in the ways
you present yourself to the world and the
energy you give off when you enter a room.
It’s responsible for how others perceive you,
so it’s good for when you’re in a group of
acquaintances.
Your moon sign and rising sign are calculated
through your birth date, time, and place. You
can look them up online.
