Indoor Sauna Care Guide
During sauna use:
When using the heater and the control unit refer to the user manual provided by the heaters’ manufacturer.
Throwwateronlyonthestonesandnotonthewallsortheplaorm.
Tokeeptheplaormlookingfresh,weadviseusingseangpadsoratowelonthebench.
Avoidsingontheplaorminwetswimwear.
Keepaneyeonthestonesastheymightbreakdowninme.Replaceoldstoneswithnewonesoraddnewstones.
Avoiduseofnon-compliantcleaningagents.Forexample,disinfectantsbleachthewoodsurfaceandmayruinit.
Aer sauna use:
Aerusingthesauna,venlatetheroomandallowthesurfacestodry.
Wipeotheplaormwithaclean,dampcloth.Keepexcesswaterfrompoolingonwoodsurfaces.Donotusea
streamofwatertowashtheplaorms.
Aercleaningthesauna,venlatetheroomandallowsurfacestodry.Removeseangpadsfromthebenches.
Whennotusingthesauna,thedoorshouldremainclosed.
Annual Maintenance:
Thewoodinthesaunashouldbetreatedwithaspeciccleaningcompound(saunacleaner).
Washallpartsoftheplaormonallsideswithaspecialcleaningcompound(saunacleaner),usingasobrushand/
orcloth.Followthedireconsofthecleaningcompoundmanufacturer.
Forstrongerstainsandsoiling,theplaormsurfacecanbecleanedgentlyusingne-gradesandpaper.Theplaorm
or sanded surface should then be re-treated with protectant.
Avoid the following:
Dryingtexlessuchascarpetsandclothingetc.asthismayposeasafetyhazard.Excessivemoisturemayalso
damage the surface of the wood.
Donotheatthesaunatoatemperaturebeyondthespecicaonsoftheheatermanufacturer.Excessiveheatmay
causethewoodtowarporposeasafetyhazard.
Pressurewashingorusingastreamofwatertocleanthesauna,asexcessmoisturemaypermanentlydamagethe
wood surface and structures.
