POWER REQUIREMENTS: The Effects Loop Corrector is a passive device (does not need a battery or power adapter).
CONNECTION NOTES: Ty pically, standard mono guitar cables (TS - Tip/Sleeve) are used with this device. When using stereo
effects in an Effects Loop that accepts stereo cables (TRS - Tip/Ring/Sleeve), the Effects Loop Corrector will also accept stereo
connectors.
WHAT IS AN EFFECTS LOOP (FX LOOP)? An Effects Loop consists of SEND and RETURN jacks typically found on the back
panel of many guitar amplifiers. An Effects Loop is are used to hook up effect(s) so the player can plug directly into the amp
input for the strongest guitar signal and uninterrupted tone from both the guitar and the effect(s).
WHY MIGHT I NEED TO CORRECT MY FX LOOPS SIGNAL? The actual level of effects loops signal varies from amp to amp.
Correcting the FX Loop signal will provide a proper signal for the effects and result in better overall tonality.
WHEN EFFECT LOOP LEVEL IS TOO HOT: Some Effects Loop signals are too hot and will cause effects to distort - follow
Set Up Diagrams #1 or #2 to solve this.
WHEN EFFECTS LOOP SIGNAL IS TOO WEAK: Some Effects Loop signals are too weak and lack the presence and
headroom for a full pleasing tone - Follow Set Up Diagrams #3 or #4 to solve this.
