The Omega RT400 Series Telemetry System is a wireless telemetry system that enables remote data acquisition from sensors without hard-wiring. The system consists of a transmitter (RT400T) and a receiver (RT400R) that communicate via radio frequency (RF) signals.

The RT400T transmitter interfaces with any resistor or strain gauge based sensor and converts the sampled analogue measurements to digital code. This code is sent to the RT400R receiver unit by radio, where the original analogue signal is reconstructed and a scaled output signal is produced.
