1ea Loop (#5) 1ea Nipple A (#8) 1ea Sleeve (#9) 1ea Decorative Ball (#10)
1ea Finial (#11) 3ea Socket Sleeves (#13) 3ea Shades (#14)
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Carefully unpack the fixture. Lay out all parts on a clean surface. Evenly spread the fixture
arms to open the chandelier (see Fixture Distribution on Page 5).
2. Screw the Loop (#5) onto the Nipple (#6). Use pliers and a screwdriver to twist open the
link (cover the chain with cloth to prevent damage to the link finish) at the end of the
Chain (#3) not attached to the Screw Collar Loop (#2). To avoid damage to the link, only
open the link enough to hook it onto the Loop (#5). Hook the open link to the Loop (#5)
and then close the link.
3. Weave the fixture wires up through the Loop (#5), through the Chain (#3), through the

PARTS INCLUDED FOR INSTALLATION (parts are not to scale):
3ea Wire Connectors (#17) 1ea Ground Screw (#18) 1ea Hex Nut (#19)
1ea Mounting Strap (#20) 1ea Nipple (#21) 2ea Outlet Box Screws (#22)
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Screw the Nipple (#21) a half-inch into the Mounting Strap (#20). Tighten the Hex Nut (#19)
against the Mounting Strap (#20) to secure the Nipple (#21). Attach the Mounting Strap (#20)
to the Outlet Box (#16) using the two Outlet Box Screws (#22). [Make sure the longer end of
the Nipple (#21) is facing outside when the Mounting Strap (#20) is attached to the Outlet
Box (#16).]
2. Adjust the Chain (#3) to required height by using pliers and a screwdriver to twist open (cover
the chain with cloth to prevent damage to the link finish) the link of Chain (#3) attached to the
Loop (#5), lifting the fixture and attaching to a link closer to the ceiling. To avoid damage to
the link, only open the link enough to hook it onto another link. The fixture can be raised and
lowered in this manner until the desired height is achieved. Next, use pliers to twist open
(cover the chain with cloth to prevent damage to the link finish) the first unused link of Chain
(#3). Remove and save the excess chain. Pull the excess fixture wires through the Nipple (#21)
into the Outlet Box (#16). Wires may be left at full length or shortened as determined by space
in the Outlet Box (#16) to make the wire connections.
3. Wrap the ground wire from the fixture around the Ground Screw (#18) on the Mounting Strap
(#20), and then connect the ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the Outlet
Box (#16). Connect the wire without writing on it (with raised ribs) from the fixture to the
white wire (neutral wire) from the Outlet Box (#16). Connect the wire with writing on it from
the fixture to the black wire (live wire) from the Outlet Box (#16). Cover the three
connections using the three Wire Connectors (#17). Wrap the three wire connections with
electrical tape for a more secure connection. Position the wires back inside the Outlet Box
(#16). Note: If you have electrical questions, consult your local electrical code for approved
grounding methods.
4. Place the Canopy (#1) over the Nipple (#21) all the way to the ceiling. Tighten the Ring (#4)
onto the Screw Collar Loop (#2) until the Canopy (#1) is held firmly against the ceiling.
5. Installation is complete. Turn on the power at the circuit breaker or fuse box. Turn the light
switch on to activate the fixture.
