The Astro Slim2 is designed with Auto on / off

settings to simplify operation. It will begin

charging or discharging once the power wire is

connected.

Yes, both ports are able to simultaneously charge

5V / 1A input devices.

3. What if the Astro Slim2 fails to charge?

Check that the adapter connection is secure, or

replace the adapter if the current adapter does not

Astro Slim2 Power Indicator Instructions

Connect the built-in power wire to the output port

to trigger the LED indicators and reveal the

remaining power state.

The number of lit LED indicators reflects the

remaining power state:

• The LED lights will turn off when the device is

fully charged.

• The LED lights will light when it starts to charge

another device and will continue to indicate the

battery's remaining power state until the device is

fully charged / the device is disconnected.

• The LED lights will remain unlit when the battery

is empty.

To protect the long-term capacity of your

device's battery, please unplug the power wire

promptly after the device is fully charged.

During the charging process, the Astro Slim2

will consume about 30% of total capacity,

including power loss from circuit heat and

voltage conversion.

Many mobile internet devices such as the iPad

charge at 2.1A. Please refer to your device's

manual to identify the ideal Amps / charging

port before using Astro Slim2.

Do not charge and discharge the Astro Slim2 at

the same time so as to protect the long-term

capacity of Astro Slim2.

How to Use Astro Slim2 to Charge Other

Devices

There are two options to

charge your various devices.

a. Use the built-in Micro USB

power wire to charge your

mobile phone.

b. Use the provided USB

power wire. Plug the Micro

USB end into your device

The Astro Slim2 external battery is fully compatible

with all AC adapters. A USB AC adapter with 1A or

more output current will maximize charging speed.

Lower currents will prolong charge time. For

example, a 500mA adapter will charge the Astro

Slim2 twice as slowly as a 1A adapter.
