DISASSEMBLY
GENERAL REMARKS
Before disassembling the unit, spread a soft rubber mat
or a cloth on the workbench to avoid scratches and
grease stains.
Do not use a material which is likely to cause static elec-
tricity because the transistors and ICS may be easi Iy
damaged by it.
When mounting the P. C. Board, confirm that the leads,
resistors, capacitors, etc., do not contact the function
mechanism such as gear or belt. Also refer to the Ex-
ploded Views.
Reassemble the unit, noting the kinds of screws, the sol-
dering and arrangement of the leads. Refer to “Circuit
Diagram and Exploded Views” for correct assembly.
Before disassembling the unit, take out the cassette tape
and the batteries
CABINET BOTTOM REMOVAL
1. Remove six screws (1 -6) fastening the Cabinet Bottom
and detach the Bottom Cabinet by lifting it.

2. Carefully detach the Bottom Cabinet because three leads
(black, red and white) are connected from the battery
terminals on the Bottom Cabinet to the P. C. Board. If nec-
essary, unsolder their leads from the P. C. Board.
3. Reassemble in reverse order.
P.C.BOARD REMOVAL
1, Detach the Bottom Cabinet by following the instructions
for it and unsolder the Speaker reads (white and blue),
motor leads (red and white) and power switch leads (or-
ange and blue) from the P.C. Board.
2. Remove the screw (7) fastening the P.C. Board and detach
the Top Cabinet by raising it in the direction of the arrow.

ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES
L
L
GENERAL REMARKS
Before the adjustments, wipe offstains onthe tape con-
tatting surfaces of the parts and the belt with a soft cloth
soaked in alcohol. Trouble may occur because of oil and
grease stains.
Carefully handle the belt because grease easily attaches
to it. Then, check the used rubber parts. If the rubber has
deteriorated or is scratched, replace the parts with new
ones.

1.
All resistors are 1/4 watt or 1/6 watt 5% unless marked.
Otherwise Resistor values are in ohms (K= 1000 ohms,
M = lOOOk ohms).
2. All capacitor values are in microfarads. (P= picofarads).
3. Each DC voltage shows the nominal values in volts no input
signal.
4.
This is a basic schematic diagram.
