• Always use the appliance with a power outlet
of the same voltage (A.C. only) as marked on

without bread will remove any unpleasant
odours from the new appliance.
Setting The Browning
Control
• Rotate the Electronic Browning controller to
the appropriate setting depending on the
type and thickness of the bread: 1-2 slightly
toasted, 3-5 well toasted, 6-7 very toasted.
• After trying out the toaster a few times, you
will quickly get to know the right setting for
each type of bread.
• When the toaster is hot, the bread toasts
more quickly and may need adjusting to a
lower setting.
• Bread must be of similar size, type and
thickness, otherwise they will be toasted
unevenly. Oversized food, metal foil
packages and utensils must not be inserted in
the toaster as they may cause re or electric
shock.
Inserting The Slices Of
Bread
Put one to 2 slices of bread in the toasting slots.
Make sure the slices do not overlap each other.
The High lift / bread release lever must be in
the up position. Tip: For the best toasting results,
always put the slices in the centre of the slots.

to the voltage indicated on the bottom of

preference may require a different browning
setting.

• The toaster turns off when the desired toast
colour is achieved and automatically raises
the toast. The toasting process can be

• The metal grills will automatically adjust
to the thickness of the slices.
• The High lift / bread release lever can
only be locked in the lower position
when the appliance is plugged in.

any time by pressing the Cancel/Stop button.
The bread will automatically pop up. (For

not properly adjusted or if you think the bread
is sufciently toasted, you can easily cancel
the toasting process.)
