When using this Camera in places where the lighting differs
greatly, please use an Auto Iris Lens with a ND Filter.
Please avoid places where temperatures exceed 50
or more,
high humidity and/or direct rainfall, frequent vibrations, or
shocks occur.
If the minimum brightness of 0.1 Lux cannot be achieved, install
the appropriate light fixtures.
When the Camera is not used, keep the lens or the lens cap
attached to protect the CCD Sensor.
2. Description
The color camera uses SONY high sensitive super HAD 1/3” interline
Charge Coupled Device (CCD) image sensor, employs Digital Signal
Processor (DSP) chip-set for image control, and all integrated state
circuitry which provides extremely long life and high reliability.
High resistance shock and vibration, easy to install, this camera
is a very good choice for your color CCTV system.

3. Features
Color camera with a SONY 1/3“ Super HAD CCD sensor.
Employed Digital Signal Processor(DSP)chip-set for image
control.
Pixel Number: NTSC=380K / PAL=440K (High Resolution)
NTSC=270K / PAL=320K (Normal Resolution)
High Sensitivity, Low Smear, High Anti-Blooming, and a high S/N
ratio.
Functions Supported: Auto Electronic Shutter (AES), Auto
Iris(AI), Auto Gain Control (AGC), Auto White Balance (AWB),
Manual White Balance (MWB), Back Light Compensation (BLC),
Flickerless mode (FL), Line lock (for AC-Type only).
Supports Auto Iris Lens: both Video-Drive & DC-Drive lens.
Supports both C and CS mount Lenses.
Built-in anti-aliasing and IR-cut optical filter.

5. Installation & Operation
Please refer to Fig. 1 or Fig. 2 (P3) and setup guide below:
1. Remove the cap cover from the top of the lens mount.
2. Screw the lens into the lens mount.
3. Connect the video output (9) to the monitor or other video device
through a 75 Ohms type coaxial cable.
4. Connect the power source (6), AC with the power cord, or DC by
using the DC Jack (+12V DC in jack center), then the LED indicate (7)
will lit.
5. Once the picture appears on the monitor, adjust the focus and iris
of the lens to obtain the best picture.
6. If the subject is not in correct focus when adjusting focus of the
lens, do back focus adjustment as following:
Set the focus ring of the lens to indefinite position.
Take picture of subject at a distance more than 20M away.
Loosen the lens mount fixing screw (use L-wrench).
Turn the lens and the lens mount together, so that the subject
is in focus and the picture is clear.
Screw the lens mount fixing screw.
7. Mount the camera on the mounting bracket by using the hole (1)
on top or bottom of the camera or using the enclosed 8 mm
mounting block with the 2 screws furnished.
8. DIP Switch (2) Setting
AWB/ MWB FUNCTION
AWB mode--In this mode, camera automatically aligns the
white balance, the operation color temperature range is
from approximately 2500K to approximately 9500K.
MWB mode--In this mode, you can use MWB/ Phase (8)
up-key and down-key to adjust color the temperature from
approximately 2500K to approximately 9500K.
AUTO IRIS FUNCTION
When using an auto iris lens, DIP S.W switch (2) should be
in position with OFF to disable AES function. Before
plugging the enclosed miniature 4 pins to the auto iris
connector (4), please check the type of auto iris lens, and
also the compatibility on the polarities.

If the auto iris lens is setup to the DC Drive (or Direct
Drive), the Switch (5) should be in position with the DC
Drive. Adjust the VR (3) to the proper level.
If video drive iris lens is used, the switch (5) should be in
position with the Video DR.
When using manual iris lens, DIP S.W switch (2) is select-able
depending on the environment.
BLC FUNCTION
Set switch-OFF/ BLC to BLC to enable back light compensation
(BLC) function.
AGC-HI / AGC-LO FUNCTION
AGC maximum gain setup to high/ low (AGC-Hi
mode--The maximum AGC gain is approximately 26dB.
AGC-Lo mode--The maximum AGC gain is approximately
16dB).
FLICKERLESS FUNCTION
Set the switch-OFF/ FLON. Set to FLON to enable flickerless
function, in this mode, the switch-AES/ OFF is auto
disabled.
LINE LOCK FUNCTION (for AC-Type only)
When using line lock function, the switch-INT/L.L. should
be in position with L.L. and adjust MWB/ Phase (8), use
up-key and down-key to adjust the proper phase (Note: If
you want to adjust the phase, the switch-AWB/ MWB
should be in position with AWB).
