5. Installation & Operation
Please refer to Fig. 1 or Fig. 2 (P3) and setup guide below:
1. Remove the cap cover from the top of the lens mount.
2. Screw the lens into the lens mount.
3. Connect the video output (9) to the monitor or other video device
through a 75 Ohms type coaxial cable.
4. Connect the power source (6), AC with the power cord, or DC by
using the DC Jack (+12V DC in jack center), then the LED indicate (7)
will lit.
5. Once the picture appears on the monitor, adjust the focus and iris
of the lens to obtain the best picture.
6. If the subject is not in correct focus when adjusting focus of the
lens, do back focus adjustment as following:
• Set the focus ring of the lens to indefinite position.
• Take picture of subject at a distance more than 20M away.
• Loosen the lens mount fixing screw (use L-wrench).
• Turn the lens and the lens mount together, so that the subject
is in focus and the picture is clear.
• Screw the lens mount fixing screw.
7. Mount the camera on the mounting bracket by using the hole (1)
on top or bottom of the camera or using the enclosed 8 mm
mounting block with the 2 screws furnished.
8. DIP Switch (2) Setting
AWB/ MWB FUNCTION
• AWB mode--In this mode, camera automatically aligns the
white balance, the operation color temperature range is
from approximately 2500K to approximately 9500K.
• MWB mode--In this mode, you can use MWB/ Phase (8)
up-key and down-key to adjust color the temperature from
approximately 2500K to approximately 9500K.
AUTO IRIS FUNCTION
• When using an auto iris lens, DIP S.W switch (2) should be
in position with OFF to disable AES function. Before
plugging the enclosed miniature 4 pins to the auto iris
connector (4), please check the type of auto iris lens, and
also the compatibility on the polarities.
