OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT:
Prior to turning power on, hope you have fully been aware of the power supply voltage of the
transmitter. The transmitter has 110V or 220V available, we will switch to one of the voltages as you
requested, or switch to standard power supply voltage according to your location.
1. Connect your transmitter
Connect the antenna or dummy load to RF output port then connect the power supply.
2. Press the power button on the front control panel, the switch red indicator lights and the LCD
displays logo after 3 seconds (Fig.4) (Logo can be customized).

3. The transmitter goes into the options to select that if the RF power would be turned on. If not, the
transmitter works with 1 watt output. If yes, you can confirm this or leave it default, the transmitter
will go to next step.
4. The transmitter will automatically be in standby status after 6 seconds. It displays working frequency,
volume, FETMOS operating temperature, output forward power, output reflected power and SWR.

You should know:
l Output power will be adjusted upward from zero and can be reached to preset maximizing power
after 30 seconds.
l In the SWR or temperature protection, output power will be dropped below 1 watt and alarm
message will be displayed. Output power will be automatically adjusted to the preset after
troubleshooting.
l The display will turn off the backlight automatically if inactivated after 10 seconds, it can be lighted
up again when turning the adjustable knob.
MENU CONFIGURATION
In the standby status, press briefly the adjusting knob, enter into the first menu option as frequency
set, you can switch to other menu options by turning the adjusting knob left or right. All configuration
menu options are as follows,
1. frequency set
2. Audio Volume
3. RF power Set
4. Stereo or Mono
5. Temp Set
6. SWR set
7. Mute
8. Exit
The following is the detailed instructions of how to configure each menu option.
1. Frequency Set
(1) Press the adjusting knob to enter into frequency configuration menu.

(2) Press the adjusting knob again to set frequency.

(3) By turning the adjusting knob left or right to decrease or increase frequency, the step is 100KHZ.
Frequency can be set from 87.5MHZ-108MHZ (Specified frequency can be customized, please contact
us for details).
(4) Press the adjusting knob to confirm when you determine to use a certain frequency.
2. Audio Volume
(1) Press and turn the adjusting knob to enter into audio volume configuration menu.

(2) Press the adjusting knob again to set volume.

(3) By turning the adjusting knob left or right to decrease or increase volume, the step is 1. Volume
can be set from 0~79.
(4) Press the adjusting knob to confirm.
3. RF Power Set
(1) Press and turn the adjusting knob to enter into RF output power configuration menu.

(2) Press the adjusting knob again to set output power.
(Fig. 11)
(3) By turning the adjusting knob left or right to decrease or increase output power, the step is 1watt
(0.1 watt for FMT-30A). Power can be set from 0 to 30/50/80/150/300 watts, based on your purchase.
(4) Press the adjusting knob to confirm.
Memo: DET - power detected

Only output power can be set.

(1) Press and turn the adjusting knob to enter into stereo or mono configuration menu.

(2) Press the adjusting knob again to set stereo or mono.

(3) By turning the adjusting knob left or right to select mono or stereo.
(4) Press the adjusting knob to confirm.
5. Temperature Set
(1) Press and turn the adjusting knob to enter into temperature configuration menu.

(2) Press the adjusting knob again to set temperature.

(3) By turning the adjusting knob left or right to decrease or increase temperature, the step is 1.
Temperature and be set from 65 to 75.
(4) Press the adjusting knob to confirm.
6. SWR Set
(1) Press and turn the adjusting knob to enter into SWR set configuration menu.

(2) Press the adjusting knob again to set SWR.

(3) By turning the adjusting knob left or right to decrease or increase SWR, the step is 0.1. SWR can be
set from 2 to 3.
(4)Press the adjusting knob to confirm.

7. Mute Set
(1) Press and turn the adjusting knob to enter into SWR configuration menu.

(2) Press the adjusting knob again to set mute.
(Fig. 19)
(3) By turning the adjusting knob left or right to set mute on or off.
(4) Press the adjusting knob to confirm.
8. Exit
Anytime when you want to exit the configuration, you can press and turn the adjusting knob to enter
into the exit menu, press the knob again, the transmitter will be back to standby status.

TROUBLESHOOTINGS
l Warning! Please check the antenna!
Stand wave protection alert. Please check if the antenna has connected correctly, or if the
antenna feeder got damaged
l HIGH TEMPERATURE WARNING!!!
High temperature alert. Please check if the transmitter vent has been blocked or if ambient
temperature is too high.
l No displays of LCD
LCD does not work when power on the transmitter and the LED does not light. Please check if
the fuse on the power outlet burned out.
l AC HUM
Please check if the power supply cable, RF output cable and audio lines are intertwined and avoid
any interfering source. Remember to use shielding audio line.
