• Style - Select Automatic or Custom mode. If
the Custom mode is selected, you can
customize the digital closed caption style
using the options below, and the resulting
change will display in real time.
• Size: Change the digital closed caption font
size: Small, Normal, or Large.
• Font: Change the digital closed caption font
style. You can select from Font 1 - 7.
• Tex t C o l o r : Change the digital closed
caption text color. You can select from Black,
White, Green, Blue, Red, Cyan, Yellow, or
Magenta.
• Text Opacity: Change the digital closed
caption text opacity. You can select from
Solid, Translucent, Transparent or Flashing.
• Background Color: Change the digital
closed caption background color. You can
select from Black, White, Green, Blue, Red,
Cyan, Yellow, or Magenta.
• Background Opacity: Change the digital
closed caption background opacity. You can
select from Solid, Translucent, Transparent or
Flashing.
• Edge Effect: Change the edge effect of the
digital closed caption text. You can select
from None, Raised, Depressed, Uniform,
Left Shadow, or Right Shadow.
• Edge Color: Change the edge color of the
digital closed caption text. You can select
from Black, White, Green, Blue, Red, Cyan,
Yellow, or Magenta.
4. Input Labels: Allows you to change the label of
each input source to match the type of device
connected.
5. Computer Settings: When the TV displays
picture from the VGA input, you can adjust the
picture using the options below:
[Auto Adjust]: Set the TV to adjust the settings
automatically. If the auto adjustment result is not
satisfactory, you can manually adjust the picture
using the options below:
[H-Position]: Manually adjust the horizontal
position of the picture. The tuning range is 0-
100.
[V-Position]: Manually adjust the vertical
position of the picture. The tuning range is 0-
100.
[Phase]:Manually adjust the picture phase to
reduce horizontal line noise. The tuning range is
0-31.
[Clock]: Manually adjust the picture clock to
reduce vertical line noise. The tuning range is 0-
255.
6. Reset to Default: Resets all settings (except TV
channel memory) to factory default settings.
Parental Controls Menu
With the Parental Controls menu, you can prevent
children from viewing inappropriate TV programs
or lock TV controls. (The default password is: 0 0
0 0)
Note: This Parental Controls feature is only
available for TV and Composite (AV) source
modes.
1. Button Lock: Select On or Off to lock or
unlock the control keys on the TV. When this
function is enabled, the control keys on your TV
will be locked and the TV only can only be
controlled by the remote control.
2. TV Rating: When set to On, your TV will block
unrated programs.
3. USA Parental Locks: Allows you to change
the parental control level by MPAA and TV
Ratings.
4. Canadian Parental Locks: You can set the
parental control level by English Rating or
French Rating.
5. RRT5: This is an advanced V-Chip rating system
for digital channels. The rating table will be
updated by downloading the RRT5 data for
blocking.
